My cast cover just arrived and I haven't used it but wanted to give a Shout Out to the Aqua Shield manager, Diane, who was very helpful when I discovered the one I ordered is not watertight due to my arm size. They are going to custom-create a better fit for my small arm. I'm a 5'2" woman with a wrist cast. I bought the adult half-arm (9.0″-12.5″ Circumference Above Cast - For Hand & Wrist). My arm was at the bottom limit for his fit, and actually with a snugger measurement is more like 8.5" (thanks to no muscle tone from the inactive arm). NOTE: The child's size is too small. I needed a snugger fit so I can swim. The one I bought will work fine for the shower. It's well-made and I'm glad to see it's 100% Made in the USA. What amazing customer service!! If you have a smaller arm, just call Diane! I suggested they need to manufacture a petit adult size to fit women.

This worked amazing to allow my son to still be able to swim while on a preplanned vaca. He was bummed when the cast was put on week before vaca. The one thing I will say is if planning on using multiple times may want to buy more then one. After few days of using the opening does stretch out and will allow water in. ( We used excessively though multiple times a day) worked great for when he showered as well. It is extremely tight and will cause a ring around the arm so I don't recommend wearing for long periods of time but I highly recommend this product especially for children. Makes keeping the cast dry so much easier and doesn't restrict the kids from water stuff in the summer.

Got it for my son who had a splint. I wasn’t able to get it over the soling and the bandages. It probably works better with a cast.

This is effective but comically long I had one of these from the same manufacture before and the opening at the time was a lot tighter a lot more secure and only went up to just above my elbow no one else put the dimensions of this thing so here it is see pictures when it says full arm; it doesn’t really say a full arm is 31 1/2 inches : ) LOL I’m 5’1” My outer seam pant length is 30 As you can see from the picture I’m holding it up above m as you can see from the picture I’m holding it up above the top of my thigh I don’t know who has arms this long LOL This thing is so long it literally went up to my armpit and that was after I sinched a band around my wrist so that I could actually use my hand in the shower It is so long if I didn’t put something around my wrist I would have no way to use my hand without it flailing around in a very long arm cover Just thought you’d all like to know that but it is definitely better than those other things out there

The material is quite strong and provides excellent protection against water getting on to a cast or bandaging. This is actually the second product I have purchased. I recently had hand surgery and used the arm shield for my arm. Because I am very slim, I used some velcro to make sure the opening closed around my upper arm. Several years ago, I bought the AquaShield (full leg) for 7 foot surgeries, and I still have it. These products are top notch. They work very well and I highly recommend them if you need to keep casts or bandages dry for showering. I called with a couple of questions regarding fitting my small arm, and the customer service was great too. Excellent!

The first time applying was hard, but not impossible as I didn't want to rip the cover. Subsequent uses are much easier. Just remember to be sure the upper edge is flat against your skin! A lycra cast cover applied first makes for a smoother application of this waterproof cast cover. If I had watched the video on this page and stretched the opening first, my initial application would have been smoother. for me, putting my thumb side in first works best. I have successfully used it on my dominant hand for weeks. This cast cover is well worth the money.

At first glance this product appeared thin and flimsy but it is not!! My 11 year old son has spent hours in the lake and pool with it on and not a drop of water has gotten onto his casted arm. The opening is very small, the size of a wrist. But it stretches out and creates a perfect seal. He has worn the cover for up to two hours at a time with no comfort issues and he has a rather thick/ample upper arm. Highly recommend. Way better than the $65 one we tried from the health care store.

the plastic material is sturdy yet soft and pliable, the opening may look small but you can stretch it gently before putting your hand/cast through it. it forms a good seal and water does not seep in. a bit too long but thats ok. hve been using it for a week daily and no issues.

Bought this for my wife following her hand surgery. She was able to bathe herself and our baby without the worry of getting the stitches wet. Wonderful product, and great service from Aquashield Distribution. Both product and seller highly recommended.

I purchased this product as I had broken my arm and needed to use something for protection against water to the plaster cast I purchased in good faith when the product arrived it wasn’t fit for purpose the opening was very narrow and the polythene was very flimsy and would not have lasted I returned the item in February I am still awaiting my refund from the company I have written 2 emails and still no joy

This was easy to use , and kept the water out. It didn't leave a a mark on the arm either. This is great for swimming with a cast and kept it dry.
