Excellent distance! Great sound, quality sound! Smart design.
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE:Updating my review and stars to 5- via the "cons" in my first review in March. The seller was very helpful working on the issues I found in my buds. They offered to send me another set because the first set did not charge all the way up. The second set charged all the way to 100%. They also explained in detail about the manual and automatic shut-off process by putting the earbuds away. That was very helpful too.I've upgraded my rating to five-star because I have to say these are the best earbuds I have currently. Anyone that currently has them or considers buying them take advantage of all sizes of ear bud covers as they send a good selection and this will be important. As I found the default set were a little snug for me and I have small ears. I can't say it enough the distance on these are amazing.Original review :I'm a wireless Bluetooth finatic. I have several. I love reviewing my bluetooths.ProsThe distance! I can go to the second floor of my house without any cut out whatsoever. These are a nice small profile case. You look at it when it's open and the right side goes on the right ear, left side goes on the left. It's nice that way. I have some where it's the opposite and it takes a minute to think about which goes in which ear.I need them for working out so they have to stay in - these do that...BUT the default ear bud cover is tight for me which is a bit unusual. I have small ears. It still works. Better snug then loose. They are a bit difficult to get settled in.I'm also need them around people who are frequently talking to me so I often need them where I can pull one out just a bit without removing it altogether (I don't want to set it down or put it in a pocket I have or maybe don't have) and it will stay and not fall out, so I can hear the person and also what I'm listening too or when I'm done talking with the person. These work great for that.I like you can use only one bud if you want. However, the manual says for phone calls you can only use one but when I make phone calls both are still engaged so I'm not sure why it says that .Sound is pretty good! I do have a higher end Samsung phone that has an equalizer so I can also tweek that. These aren't the top end spendy brand buds but even so, for the money I am very very happy.Cons: charging issues... I charged them up completely when I received them. But they only reach 90%. I feel they should charge to 100% like my other BT's do. When charging the white lights blink scrolling slowing on the outside of the case. Then when the case is activated with power the "eyes" sort of blink at you... It's like a critter looking at you 😉Also according to the user manual you're suppose to have the option of turning them off two ways; manually by pushing the button which turns both off together, or by simply placing them in the case. I have tried the "placing them in the case" option every time and I find this way NEVER WORKS. I'm pretty savvy at how this should work. It simply doesn't. Either I have a defective set or it just doesn't work this way. I've written the seller. I don't find them to be very receptive to my explaining that IT'S NOT WORKING as it should.Other than that feature which I really thought was pretty nice, these are OK buds for the money.

Anbes keeps evolving and improving their wireless earbuds offering
Updated 01-09-2018 with photos of when I first uboxed them and started charging and using them. They continue to sound great. Still working well. My daughter likes the sound quality and volume. She says the are as good as wired earbuds and she wants to 'borrow' them.I have tried prior versions of Anbes wireless earbuds. I still have them actually. I can say they have evolved because I have stuck with them and have direct experience. There are many wireless earbud suppliers on Amazon and I just can't see that anyone has a particularly clear edge on anyone else unless you jump to something that's 3 or 4 times the cost of Anbes. For this newest version of their earbuds, the D42, I can clearly hear and feel the improvement. The sound quality gets better. It's similar to any new technology in that it starts out a bit slow with the improvements and then there's a sudden burst of iterations with each getting better over the previous version. And it happens in a narrower and narrower window of time. The D42, the product on this page, has a much better wider range of sound. This at least is how my ears perceive it. I also have kids and my wife who I share these with. They seem to agree. I popped the prior versions into my ears and then this new version. Either because of the fit, the angle of the earbuds or the electronics/mechanics the sound is piped more clearly and loudly into my ears. The battery life is somewhat better than prior versions. I'd say it's mostly on bar with a slight edge. That could be a subjective thing. There's certainly no loss in battery life even with the gain in sound quality.Pairing and operation was just as merchandised on the website. I probably tired to make it harder based on past experience. In that I was fiddling with them figuring out how to pair them and actually they were already paired. I've had some difficult with wireless earbuds getting connected to my phone. In this case with the D42 they paired easily as the product page says by simply pulling them out of the case, looking for the Bluetooth listing on my phone, selecting it, and then they were streaming music from my phone.I did not try spraying water on the earbuds. They are rated for water spray but it's not something I'm ready to do. Not sure if the warranty intentionally covers me dousing them with water to prove they do or don't meet the water rating.I need to have more time with these earbuds to give a final opinion. For now they seem to be an improvement. I'll give an update as I use them more.
