What is the point of buying this if you have to spray the outside of the window for it to work? If I could spray the outside of my 40th floor window

This window cleaner is made for cleaning hard to reach windows. You only need to spray on spot on the outer part of the window, not the whole window. And then when you move the Glider around the window in an "S" shape, the cleaning liquids spread all over it.

Is there a device (pole?) available or a method to attach this to fixed windows or skylights?

What gauss ar the magnets?

I do not know the gauss value but do know that on our double pane windows I had to back off the strength to prevent the unit from sticking. The product works very well on our windows.
