Classic Series Rubberized Hard Case Compatible MacBook Pro 13.3" (13" Diagonally) with Retina Display (Old Gen. 2012-2015) Model: A1425 and A1502 - Gray

This was my first purchase on amazon and definitely my favorite. I received case earlier than expected and was immediately impressed with the overall quality of the case. I mean, it is just plastic, but the cuts are clean and precise. It fit my Macbook pro 13" (retina) perfect and I always leave it on. It can be slightly difficult to remove but its worth the protection and id prefer it be secured rather than loose. At least this one is possible to remove, I had a similar case made by Mercury and it was actually impossible to remove the top half of the case. I ended up selling the computer with the case on it, The surface has a matte finish to it which makes it a lot easier to hold onto and adds a lot of grip compared to the aluminum. I also like how the finish feels to the touch. The cut outs at the bottom definitely help to reduce heat build up and the rubber stoppers help to keep you macbook slightly elevated to also help with the heat. The rubber stoppers have a lot of grip as well so your $2,000 laptop doesn't go flying off the table!I managed to drop my computer once with the case one both the case and my macbook both survived with only a small scratch on the case! Without the case on it, I'm not sure how my macbook would look right now. This is definitely one of the better investments I've made.Overall, Im very happy with this case and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for one, especially at this price!

You can't beat the price! I was a bit leery of the $10.99 price (vice the $40 average price of other name brands), but I received the cases today and they are a quality product. Similar to the quality incase cover that I have on my older Macbook Pro. Fits snugly, snaps on easily to stay. These are frosted covers with the silky rubberized feel to them. They do not interfere with the opening or closing of the Macbook. The sides are exposed where the ports are located. The sides are protected towards the front of the Macbook. There are two rows of air vents on the bottom cover for the front and rear portions of the Macbook. They are very light adding minimal extra weight. There are four distinct pads on the bottom at each corner. They function well; I'm not sure of their durability over the long-term. The pads seem to be made of the same soft material as kitchen cabinet bumpers (from lack of a better description). I bought two covers, different colors to change out once and awhile; still 50% cheaper than a single cover for most other brands. I don't know how the covers will hold up against scratches at this point, but they seem no less durable than the incase or speck cases that I have had. Then again, I'm only concerned about protecting the Macbook against scratches; I don't care if the case is scratched.UPDATE In January 2015. Three of the four soft pads on the bottom of the case have torn off, but the case continues to function perfectly. The soft pads had a ring of tough plastic surrounding them which continue to support the case. I remain 100% satisfied with this case.UPDATE in April 2015. I dropped my computer bag. The left front corner of the bottom piece cracked, but protected the computer. This case has taken a lot of punishment. There are dozens of small scratches on it, however, they are difficult to see because the cover is opaque. You can only see the scratches where the light appears through the apple logo on the computer cover. I am ordering another cover today.UPDATE in May 2015. My replacement case arrived. The four bottom soft foot pads have been replaced by larger (diameter) hard, black rubber pads. Appear to be very durable. They definitely inhibit the case sliding around on table tops! Very nice improvement.

Honestly, when I first got the case I wasn't completely sure about it. The turquoise wasn't as see through as I was hoping. Searching through the reviews, I saw another reviewer was able to put a decal underneath their purple case and still have it show clearly, but the turquoise one is too opaque for a decal to show through. However, I put the decal on the outside of the case and it looks completely fine. Now, after a few days of use I have grown to love the case. The texture is silky soft, the fit is perfect for a 13" Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display, and the color is really nice and vibrant to fit my personality. Like one reviewer pointed out, the corner hinges are exposed and some reviews stated the bottom pads might wear off, but otherwise the case is sturdy enough and is definitely good quality for the cheap price. I would buy again.

This case has a nice "soft touch" feel, and fits my new 13" Mac Book Pro perfectly. There are no issues with a lip on the typing edge, as I've experienced with some other cases, and it seems to be high quality, sturdy plastic. Easy enough to snap on, though I have not tried to remove it. And the color is better in person than in the picture - a rich, deep blue. I'm very pleased I chose this case over others! And it arrived next day, as promised.UPDATED: After purchasing in March, it is now October and the bottom portion fo the case is cracked and chipped on both front corners. I do travel a lot, and my computer comes with me - but I'm very careful with it, so was hoping this case would last a little longer. For the price, it's still not a bad deal, as it does maintain its fit and seems to do the job of protecting the edges of my computer - but not a long-lasting item. Removing one star, as I expect to update my cover periodically, but this seems a bit soon. :/

nice top case cover, fits mac mf839 model exactly.... looks sturdy n shock proof... not that heavy and material looks good... one should buy to protect their priced possession like Mac mf839...

Value for money! Earlier I had bought Speck brand cover in US. Compared to that, it is much cheaper. One star less for smudges left. But, is easy to clean. Has nice, soft grip.
