Great Cooler. Check your case dimensions first. Its wide.
Great heatsink. Removed my blower fan and got a 3* drop. This was going from blower fan cooling (loud) to completely passive cooling.Amazing....I will add some fans if I want to overclock later onGPU GTX 970

Heatsink is great, but there is a catch
The mk 26 is a great aftermarket VGA cooler I actually got temps low enough on a GTX 760 I was overclocking that I got well over 50 mhz boost in core clock from a already very decent 1330 ish core I have (quite a good 760 core)The mounting solution is well thought out as well and for 40 bucks it is a good deal however there is a big catchTHE BIG CATCH is as follows: The vrm heatsinks in this kit are beyond worthless literally when you get the kit open your window and toss those out as far and as hard as you can throw them. Get yourself some aluminum bar stock and make some of your own heatsinks and bolt them on. Or get some aluminium heat sink extrusions with lots of surface area and cut them to fit your application and drill some mount holes. For 40 bucks thats worth it for the heatsink considering the performance vs the morpheus 2 (the raining king of aftermarket VGA air coolers) but just know the stock vrm heatsinks are garbage

Beast Cooler
Works great fits newer nvidia and amd cards as well. This thing is huge though, probably 160mm+ wide when installed. comes with clips for 140 or 120x25 fans and pwm adapter

This is probably the most compatible of all the aftermarket coolers.
This MK-26 is a replacement for a failed cooler (fan) on my Zotac GTX 1080 AMP Edition. By compatible, I mean that it works in a real system with other system components installed. I have it installed inside a Phanteks Evolv TG (fairly large case) with a standard ATX motherboard. I did not encounter any clearance issues or interference with other components such as RAM, motherboard, CPU, etc. The installation was pretty straightforward, although the instructions could be more clear. This is not a perfect solution, but pretty much the best of a very few selection of aftermarket vga coolers - and I have tried a few.My issues with the Prolimatech MK-26:1. The ram heatsinks are completely worthless. The included adhesive, is not sticky at all. They will just fall off. Prolimatech, if you read this, please fix the adhesive or provide some other solution.2. The weight is extremely heavy. There should be some kind of height adjustable support included. See picture. In the middle I had to place a U bracket. You can also see the weight of the heatsink is warping the card slightly.3. Edited issue with fan speed and power output. I just found the specs on my attached fans and they max out at 1200 rpm so it seems like the Y adapter is doing its job.As far as cooling performance goes, I think it's ok. I'm getting around 50-60 Celcius on load but that is probably due to the fans only spinning at around 1250 rpm. I tried setting the fan speed manually using MSI afterburner and Zotac's Firestorm utility but that didn't do anything.Overrall, I would recommend the Prolimatech MK-26 over any other aftermarket vga cooling even with it's flaws because it worked well with my other system components. Compatibility is a deal breaker for this type of product, and I have found other coolers/heatsinks (Accelero Extreme IV with giant backplate heatsink) just did not work. I might replace my 140 mm fans with a couple of low profile 120 mm.

It is called black but is not black and the picture is a lie.
This is a great cooler, huge, effective, shipped quickly, well made but here is my issue. I have ordered two of these "Prolimatech Black MK-26 VGA Cooler ". notice the word in the middle. The word black. I did not get black I got two Nickel coolers. That is the color of the standard edition. Not the color of the black edition or the picture of the Prolimatech website or the picture here on Amazon. The boxes are labeled black and are not black inside. Thus it is a manufacturing issue. I would give a 5 star review but lies deduct all the points.

Fantastic Air Cooler
Installed on a Sapphire 290X 4GB Reference Design.Using these fans: Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 140mm x 15mm PMW Fan (120mm Mounting Pattern) The VRM Coolers that come with this kit are OK, but not great.I wanted something a little bit better.Purchased these VRM coolers: Gelid Solutions ICY Vision Enhancement Kit for R290/X VGA Cooler, Blue Keeps my GPU between 65 and 70 C, VRM 50 to 60 C, at full load (love it!)One thing to note, the weight of this cooler was a bit much on my video card or mobo. I kept getting black screens and re-starts until I added some support for the cooler. I think it was straining my PCI-E slot or not making all the needed connections, you could clearly see the video card bending a bit, which is not good. Once I added the support (pushing it up about a 1/2 inch) all the issues went away. It's an awesome cooler, but gravity is not its friend.

Get the right fans to go with this great cooler and you have near silent cooling of a 290X
Sharp looking and easy to mount. It comes with clips to mount normal thickness 25mm fans, so I had to order different clips for the Prolimatech Ultra Sleek Vortex 140mm x 15mm PMW Fans I combined this with mounted on my 290X. The silence is deafening, compared to even the custom cooler that came with my 290X.

Very Satisfied
Very satisfied with the product. Using it on a Asus stock 780 GTX with 2 corsair 120MM SP high performance fans and it idles at 25C. Memory OC'ed to 6200mhz, core to 1065mhz with Crysis 3 everything maxed at 1440P, it run's no hotter than 52C. This is in my Maingear Vybe rig that has a 4770K @ 4.3ghz with a corsair h60 water cooler, 16GB corsair vengeance 1600mhz oc'ed to 2133mhzI docked a star because my rig is completely flat black with red, so I ordered the black one, but of course I fail to realize it's silver until my excitement of using it was over (it really isn't over).
