I absolutely love the PixelFlash CF Card reader! Compared to my old card reader, this guy uploads images at lightning speed! I love the design and the small size. I also appreciate no extra USB cables! Very happy with my purchase!

The cable connection is a very nice touch, as there is limited space on my laptop between the USB ports. I’m not even sure that my old one (if I were to ever locate it) would fit. Plus, the reader worked perfectly - easy to slip the card in, easy to plug into the laptop, and fast download of all 200+ files from the camera card to the laptop. Thanks for a great product and speedy shipping.

I was not sure if this reader would work after using other cable and dongle options that failed. Finally, I was able to import photos from my DSLR to my iphone without any issues.

Just purchased the Pixel Flash card reader and I love it! The speed is incredible and it's so compact I can fold it over my laptop without obstructing the keyboard. I also love how it lights up when it is transferring data lol. Spectacular!

UPDATE: As I mentioned in my original review, the PixelFlash never worked well with my computer and Compact Flash card. Apparently my setup had a very specific combination of UDMA7 CF Card transferring data over a USB-2 connection that caused problems with the card reader. Customer service tried hard to resolve the matter and they were very responsive. Unfortunately my last email to them was either filtered or simply didn't make it into their inbox. Once they did find out about my dissatisfaction, they quickly contacted me and offered a full refund and even sent me another card reader (a different model). So I would give their customer service 5 stars, but since the original product didn't work on my computer, the average would have been 3 stars, but since they provided me a refund and a card reader that works, I felt that warranted the 4 stars. For the vast majority of people the PixelFlash should work fine, and for those rare people who aren't as fortunate, please rest assured that customer service will take care of you. I bought this because of its compactness and no need for a USB cable. Unfortunately, I could never it get it to work correctly. Pictures would import, but randomly many of them would be corrupted and/or garbled, especially the RAW files. I contacted the manufacture and after a few emails back and forth they determined that I needed a firmware update. I installed the update and at first it seemed to solve the problem, but then the same problem popped up. A few more email exchanges proved fruitless. After a month of going around in circles I bought a cheap SIIG card reader and never had a problem. When I notified PixelFlash and asked if I could get a refund I never heard back from them. Bottom line is the product didn't work and their customer service couldn't solved the problem nor did they ever offer a refund or any kind of compensation. I would never buy a product from them again. The other design flaw is that when you insert the PixelFlash card reader into your USB port, it blocks access to any adjacent ports. I was willing to live with that if it had worked, but it never worked.

Love the No-Bend pins, and file transfer is FAST! And it's compact! Can’t go wrong with this!

I was so excited to purchase & use this compact flash card reader with pins that would not bend! This meant no more delays in accessing the photos on my CF card, and no worries about possibly damaging the card because of bent pins in the cheap reader. Now I can transfer with confidence! Thanks for a great product - worth every penny!

The Transcend Reader is far better if you have to adjust with non bootable cf reader.

At last someone has produced a CF card reader that doesn’t destroy the delicate pins of the usually readers this is a solid quality product that wont bend the pins as the alignment rails are spot on. If you use CF cards in your camera this is a must.
