Does this support 240V?

I don't believe so. I looked in the Quick Start and Owner's Manual and could find any thing on the subject.

I have the pb-2000 and it sounds pretty good, but i'm missing a bit of punch in the higher bass frequencies. would the 3000 be an improvement?

How high are you talking? I have most of the highs removed from the sub so that my speakers do that lifting. My sub stays mostly quiet until something low frequency happens. I had a pb-2000 and returned it. I was unimpressed by the punch. The quality was great but even in my small media room it was lacking that subterranean shake. I got a pb-3000 and love how it rocks the foundation and hits hard.

Can the ports be plugged for a sealed sound experience when desired?
