Have to use shock weekly, so this larger bottle was well worth it. SpaGuard is great quality. Easy to open bottle, and free flowing pour out contents, works very well, and larger size so I'm not having to order so often.

We use this after almost every soak in our inflatable hot tub and let the bubbles run for about 10 min. To help it dissolve, I think a little goes a lot way and we used to measure it out but now we just eyeball it and shake a bit into the lid and spread it around the top of the tub. Our pH in the tub has been within normal range, our water is crystal clear and it’s easy to use. We use bromine tablets instead of chlorine so our chlorine level is always lower than average

I've had a hot tub for almost 17 years now. I've tried all sorts of chemicals to keep the water fresh and clear and clean, switching between bromine and chlorine. I finally decided that chlorine was the easiest and best way to keep the chemicals in balance. Where I live the water is pretty soft, which is to say it's low in minerals. In my case, the only two things I need are come calcium hardener right after I change the water, then I may need a small dose of pH and/or alkalinity, but once I've got the water dialed in, then just a cap full of this SpaGuard stuff once a week brings everything to where it needs to be. Highly recommend, even though it's costly, it will last a long, long time.

Started ordering this larger size to refill my smaller container and save some money. Works great for that purpose. I am used to measure the amount of product I need to dispense into my spa using the lid from the smaller container. With that being said I switched to this brand after using Leisure Time for awhile. I wanted to find somethings different to try and save some money.Pros:1. Cheaper than competitors2. Don’t need to travel to store and can set up on auto delivery.Cons:1. Don’t like the unclear instructions for measurement. I’m used to my previous brand that used one full cap full for measurement.2. Style, no stars deducted for this but the style is just unattractive. When I purchased my jacuzzi I was excited to display my Leisure Time chemicals. The containers looked nice, sold and had good color and design. After switching to this brand (and saving a good amount of money) I make sure to keep my chemicals out of view.8/10 would recommend. Same effect, better price, less style

We bought our spa 13 years ago. Use it daily unless raining, but sometimes in the rain too. This is the only brand we have used in our spa and our spa is in excellent condition. As with all spas they do require maintenance and we do take good care of ours, but this product is excellent and our spa's condition is testament to a quality product over time.

The media could not be loaded. I know I need to use this stuff every couple weeks (or weekly) so might as well go big. The directions are easy to follow and as long as you keep the jets on your hot tub for 30 minutes after applying you are good to go. It’s kept the water clean and helps restore after lots of hot tub use. No smell. Very sturdy container that I leave outside and it doesn’t blow away and the lid doesn’t come off. Easily recommended.
