Great sun blocker - a must have
Great product. Visibility through the blocker is good and it was easy to apply. Excellent for those evenings as the sun is coming down. Great seller as well who helped resolve a shipping issue that was not their fault. Great value for the money, especially since you can easily remove and put on another helmet. Design fits the cutouts on the Aria helmets perfectly.

Good sun visor.
In a car you have a sun visor to start with, the roof. On a Motorcycle you have way more vision and sunglasses just don't sit right. My morning commute is pretty much with the sun in my face and this helps a LOT. So glad I got this.

Very Satisfied
I'm very satisfied with this 'sun blocker'. Installation was pretty easy, simple instructions. I removed the faceshield...much easier to position the sunblocker and remove bubbles. I often ride heading east in the morning and the sunblocker is very effective at reducing sun glare by 60% or so. Much better than without. I can easily see under the sunblocker under normal conditions. It doesn't interfere with overall visibility. Very satisfied.

Keeps sun out of my eyes
This fits my Arai helmet well. Application instructions are clear. It is a green color. I would have preferred gray or smoke color. Definitely helps to keep the sun out of my eyes from high angles.

If you have an ARAI helmet with faceshield vents then read this
I purchased this for an Arai Corsair-X helmet so selected the Arai version. The product is basically window tint material so one could make their own but it is convenient to have the basic curvature already cut for you. The problem and reason for 2-star review is that the cut-outs on the product, for the air vents that are integrated in to the Arai face shield, are only rough estimate cut-outs and do NOT tightly align with the shape of the air vents. In other words there are significant gaps between the vents and the tinted material so streaks of bright sunlight will zap you in the eyes. It also is too wide top to bottom as-is, so the bottom edge lands smack in the middle of my line of sight. I did not deduct review points for this though because they state that you may have to cut it to your liking but I do recommend using very sharp scissors for a clean cut.

Works well but WAY too pricey
Works really well on my Aria helmet. Fit was good. The shading is awesome. Installation was easy. But the price is ridiculous. I am going to buy some window tint adhesive sheet material (cheap) and make my own sun blocker for my other helmet.

Works well unless sun is very low on the horizon.
It’s perfect unobtrusive simple and does the job as long as the sun is not too low, but then nothing works really well.

just cut it
I'm replacing my original review. It dawned on me to just cut it to size. Duh, right? I supposed scissors will work. I placed it on paper, on pressed board, and cut with utility knife. The cut looks a bit jagged here and there, but it's too fine of a defect for me to notice it when I wear it. But not only did I cut it to fit right, I also made it a bit shorter, the way *I* wanted it. The payoff? I placed the strip on the inside of the clear shield of the SunShield on my Quantum X. Yes, it now sits directly on the fog lens (aka pillock) you can buy for the shield. So riding at speed, the wind does not easily grab it and throw it on the road, the way it did with the strip I applied to the inside of the sun shade. So NOW, when I ride into the sun, this strip plus the sun shade does cut the sun down. Happy riding to ya.

I had a small problem with my purchase and the vendor helped me out right away. I am super happy with my purchase. The film goes on easily if you follow the instructions which are very clearly written and thoroughly explained. There are two types on offer - one for an Arei and one for everyone else. Make sure you select the correct one for your needs. As far as functionality goes - this is something I really needed. I was literally riding into the sun sometimes with a hand over my visor to block the rays. No need for that now. This does not interfere with the road view. My line of vision is shown in the photos. Only the distant horizons is tinted. The road is clear.

This item should be worth no more than 50p.

I don’t have an Arai helmet so I had to cut the product a bit, but I made it work.
