Each section opens with a lively presentation page which introduces the point of grammar. Grammar explanations are short, clear and easy to remember. Colour is used to highlight grammatical contrasts. Each grammar explanation is followed immediately by an activity, so that students can practise before moving on to the next explanation. Engaging practice activities include Internet exercises which enable students to see how language is used in real life, and personalisation activities allow students to use the grammar to talk about themselves. There are 'More practice' pages and a revision test at the end of each section. OEGC Basic has units at two levels. Some, marked 'Revise the Basics', revise elementary points of grammar which may still cause problems; units marked 'Level 2' are more advanced. Very good book, it helps improving my english language skills

Solid grammar reference book for individual or class study
As an English teacher, this book is a great way to introduce grammar into the lesson with little planning, especially in a one-to-one situation. It is also good for setting homework to consolidate the grammar covered in lessons. The methodology is sound and it focuses on simple explanations with plenty of practice. It also has great "revise the basics" sections that really keeps the explanation to a minimum and focuses on getting the studying to use the target language and 'discover' the pattern for themselves. It also avoids unrealistic examples/exercises and tries to focus on things that a student may actually need the language for. The section on spoken grammar is also quite interesting as it looks at things often not covered in textbooks. For the student, this is a great way to develop your grammar. I would recommend this as a good reference book to supplement an English course if you feel as though you're not totally confident with some aspects of grammar. I wouldn't recommend working through this book from start to finish, rather visiting certain sections for practice.

Libro chiaro ed esaustivo
Libro ottimo anche per chi vuole ripassare e incentivare il proprio inglese. Ho comprato questo libro leggendo le varie recensioni e non sono rimasta delusa. Il libro è composto da vari capitoli con teoria e esercizi e soluzioni. Il cd compreso aiuta molto la pronuncia. Il livello corrisponde a intermedio cioè B1/B2.

イギリス英語の英文法のテキストです。 各文法の説明が短く簡素でわかりやすく、演習問題数が多いので、ターゲットの文法をしっかり定着させることができると思います。 巻末の付録部分には、意味が似通っていそうだけど使い訳けが必要な語、イギリス英語の動詞の不規則変化表などが掲載されています。

The Best Intermediate English Learning Book / Program
I have used this book as a teaching aid for German students to learn English. The instructions are on one side, and there are plenty of exercises on the other side. The tenses are arranged logically. The book is great. I have used Swan books for over 15 years in a classroom environment. It is really hard to beat these books when it comes to both teaching and arranging a teaching plan. This version is the intermediate. It is challenging.
