The book itself is cute! However disappointed with my purchase because the quality was awful! It has pencil marks through it and was just dirty overall....

Good to help my daughter with the idea of having a brother

It's the perfect book to introduce kids to anew baby sibling. The usborne style was always my favourite growing up & I'm glad I can share this with my 4 year old. It has cute little scenes on each page and different things kids can identify with. It explains things simply and in a modern way. It's got a little girl called Lucy in it who's reenacting all little things that Mrs Bunn will be going through, like washing the baby, feeding the baby. It also tells the child about things at the hospital (I showed my daughter her what her weight was, baby photos and also her hospital band - which it shows in the book) it's lovely!! Deffinately a winner!

Used to help first child adjust to arrival of the second child.

Compramos este libro con otros libros tambien para preparar a mi hija por el nacimiento de su hermana. A ella le encanta este libro y lo recomendo. Tambien me gusta mucho como ensena a la madre dando el pecho al bebe (y tambien a la hija dando un biberon a la muneca asi es justo para los que no dan el pecho).

Great book beautifully illustrated ! A very good story about a family that is waiting for a new baby. The story tells about getting ready for the baby, visiting the baby and mummy at the hospital, then the baby at home (the books shows breast-feeding which is great as rare - while the big sister feeds her dolly with a bottle)... A must have if you want to prepare and explain what will happen to your toddler.
