A beautiful model car set.
My father-in-law has been putting together a lot of cars for a very long time. I wasn't sure about this one but upon receiving it, it was definitely worth the money. After he put it together it turned out beautiful. Great quality, easy to assemble, and fun for everyone.

Great choices to make for the engine! Worked for a contract piece perfectly.
I make skulls with lots of stuff in them. I got a request for an engine. I thought that would be cool. I quickly found out how difficult it can be to find one on the entire internet. Finally I got frustrated and decided to get a car and just modify the engine. I saw this one and gave it a shot. Wow, am I glad I did. First I started laying out pieces of the engine. There are a lot of pieces and I noticed Standard, stock engine with standard exhaust or blown engine with headers, of any combo of any of it. I'm old school so I like the stock look with the air cleaner. However the guy that I was making it for opted for the fully blown engine. In the end he was right, as you can see. The scale was a bit of an issue but I ended up drilling a through-hole straight up the transmission tail shaft to put a copper wire to act as the power transmission and become the spinal chord. Then I had to figure how to get rid of the air getting trapped in the stacks. I poured clear with it sitting upright. I totally forgot about the air that would be trapped inside the engine. As it was curing the heat forced the air out but it was gelled just enough to restrict it making it look like the engine was 'running' I could not have done that better. The customer was extremely happy with it and now wants me to make another one with a different engine. This kit worked out perfect for him, me and the project as a whole. Great detail.

It's from AMT, so it has to be good
It's an AMT kit. So, it is what I like to refer to as a Forrest Gump kit. You never know what you have until you build it. All parts appear to be in good condition
