Five Brother Denim Bib Overalls

I really like these 5 Brother Bibs, my main purpose for buying them was to use them while mowing grass and weed eating, I like the fact that I can put on a pair of shorts and T-shirt, than slip the Bibs over them when mowing, I move from place to place throughout the day and I simply slip off the Bibs and put them back on at the next job sight, keeps the mess out of my vehicle while traveling from place to place, I like the 5 Brothers produce because they are light weight and hold up well in work environments, the set I replaced was used daily for over 5 years before being replaced. By Bibs take a beating, because they ride in my truck for weeks at a time before seeing the washing machine, I like 5 Brothers because unlike many other Bibs they feel broken in from day 1, other bibs are just to stiff and takes several washings before they have that comfortable feeling about them, Great Durable Product from a person who abuses his work clothing.

based on the sizing charts, other reviews and so on I purchased the next size up from what I am. And still, they are too small. Best to go at least 2 sizes up from that they say your size is.. Such a shame that standard sizes aren't standard. A 34x34 should be a dang 34x34 across the board..

THEY do not crawl up your butt as does every other brand I have tried.( except the Sears Roebuck that were great back in the day. These are similar in quality and fit to Roebucks.) Maybe for someone wearing overalls for style a tight fitting butt is okay, but for work it is awful.The length is definitely too long. I ordered one pair 36-32 to test the size. I'll reorder at 36 -30. That being said, other than the size they are great.Update: the 32” length turned out to fit okay.The strap buckles could use a different design. The piece that holds the buckle together at the end breaks, rendering the strap useless. More break than not. I use a small black zip tie to hold it together. It is hardly noticeable. Bottom line is : I’m ordering 4 more pairs despite the problem with the buckle.

The fit is as expected, the quality of construction is excellent and they feel and look great. My wife even likes them best of any bib overalls that i own and wear. They take me back to when i was young and bought bib overalls from the feed store or hardware store, the look and design is just like that. They have tripled sewn seems where it matters and they use white thread, no amber/orange thread that became popular much later. The denim is good quality too. They have a water resistant cell phone pocket in the bib and they have a zippered pocket across the top of the bib up front. There are folding rule pockets and a claw hammer loop and even a watch pocket that might work great for a pocket knife too. If i wanted to point out a weakness they have the cheaper run of the mill looking hooks at the end of the suspenders to grab the metal buttons, but then most all bibs use this type today. They also have a two size button on the upper waist so that you can button it close or loose, your choice on either side. Nice feature if your weight varies. All told these are great bib overalls, and to get them at this price is too good to pass up.

I had a pair of overalls I wore till they were nothing but threads. Overalls are so comfortable!! This pair fits perfectly and is very soft and comfortable. If I had a complaint i'd say the zipper could be lower, but these are really fitting good so I don't care about that. The front pocket is perfect for a wider cell phone and all the pockets allow me to keep all my "stuff" on me, wallet, keys, phone, lighter, etc. Get these, wear 'em!

I love these. Very comfortable and hold up well. I’ve worn all the major brands over the decades and recently found these. These are without doubt the best I’ve ever had. I will say the sizing for the inseam is a little different. They seem to run long. I wear a 34 inseam in almost all traditional pants however these I ordered a 32 based on some other reviews. If I had that to do over I would have ordered a 30 inseam. No big deal just keep in mind to order at least one size smaller inseam than with traditional pants.

So far I like these. the inseam runs long. I like the cell phone pocket tho it does not breath and holds the heat on your chest. They are well made and feel good wearing them. I will order these again.

These bibs are true to size. I normally buy Liberty bibs but sizing is always in question. Sometimes too big or too small. Looks like Five Brother bibs found a new home here.
