Good overview for people who want somewhere to start and make sure they cover the basics.
Useful overview. For anatomy I used this to check against the learning objectives, essential clinical anatomy and netter’s flashcards. Physiology it provides a good overview when again compared against a decent physiology text against the L.Os.EBM I think a website would be more useful as there is little content and it could do with better explanations of some of the stats as medics don’t tend to be familiar with stats unless we’re into research and statistical analysis.I was confused by why there was a pathophysiology section as there is none in the 2015 basic sciences curriculum and it doesn’t seem to be needed in this book?Otherwise a good bullet point guide but needs pairing with learning objectives, filling in odd gaps and especially anatomy images from other sources and checking against the learning objectives. Maybe they could make the learning objectives more obvious in the next edition or suggest other sources to aid learning?

Good revision book but full of errors
This edition is full of errors and although the FRCEM SAQ is a new concept of the exam, many things are in the book is already outdated and wrong. Some areas of the exam are poorly covered.
