Dont be over-awed, just do it, it'll be fine !
Bought this epoxy, not knowing what to expect, reviews were mixed. But there seems to be a shortage of epoxy in the uk at the minute, maybes due to project numbers going up during the pandemic (??) - anyway this would arrive from germany quicker than others in the uk i'd looked at, it was fairly priced so i took a gamble. Product arrived pretty much on date expected and was well packaged. The product tells you to mix 2:1 ratio BY WEIGHT, the reviews are mixed, some saying that hadn't worked for them and a second batch at 2:1 by volume had worked. I decided to follow the instructions and do it by WEIGHT (After all, if it screwed up I'd have a better chance of a reimbursement for it not working after following the manufacturers instructions as opposed to doing the opposite, right ?). I mixed the full batch in one go (2kg epoxy and 1kg of hardner) in a bucket, and hand mixed with a wooden mixer stick, mixed for the full 5 minutes as suggested and made sure it was well mixed from the bottom and sides of the container. It pours well, and would've self levelled beautifully (if i'd remembered to check that the table was level), consequently, I had a little bit of over-spill onto my plastic sheet I'd laid down, but also run-off onto my laminate flooring (and it has been a bitch this morning scraping the hardened overspill off the floor). Had a few air bubbles come through, which were easily popped with my blow torch (don't get too close, you don't need to) Currently approx 16 hrs after pour and its looking good. Epoxy is hard to the touch and looks silky smooth and glossy, just need to wait foe full cure period now and see the end results. Overall, don't be frightened or intimidated by the product, this was my FIRST time using epoxy, and i was very apprehensive, but I've got no qualms at all about doing my next product and would definately look at using this particular brand again.

Works just fine
I have done 2 tables now and various other projects, and I have never had any problems with it at all. The only small thing I have noticed is that once it has dried, there is a slight layer of scum on the top. This is not too much of an issue as it gets sanded and then polished, but there is times where if I did not have this I would not have to sand. It could be a natural thing as I have not used any other product to see if there is any difference.

for jewellery
Ok for jewellery but no good for making coasters as melts with hot cups and even a cold cup would leave a mark also the sheerness with pigment would get a little cloudy and sometimes would stay sticky even though correct amounts used couldnt use to make a coffee table

does what it says for a good price.
hassle free transaction, good postage speed, the resin works at it should and is straightforward to use. read the instructions and they also have a section on the site for common problems. mix really well, if you think you've mixed it, do it again. I use a rotary tool and a stirring attachent i made.

Horrible!
Absolutely horrible resin. Definitely false advertising and I will be taking this up with Amazon. Small casts in forms are fine, although far from crystal clear. Tables however are really bad. Doesn't manner how well you follow instructions, the best thing you can tell is that it sets. Constant pits, constant bubbles. No matter how well the surface is prepared. This is not for tables as they advertise! You always need to do a second coat and this one clouds up while setting and it doesn't self level. Tried casting in hot, medium and cold weather. In 3 different places, got same results every time. Followed measuring and stirring instructions to the tea.
