Question 1

Given that it extracts 8L a day, is it suitable for the landing of a 3 bedroom house with 2 people living in it? My mean temperature is 18-19.5 C

Accepted Answer

I use it in my house which has 3 bedrooms and it does the job. If there is any particular room that has more dampness then that is where I would place it for a while. If it is just to reduce dampness generally then you are right to place it in the hall or landing. The tank is 2 litres and it switches off when full. I have to say I would be surprised to get 8 litres of water collected in a day - usually the 2 litre tank fills over 2 - 3 days.

Question 2

what is the energy use in Kw?

Accepted Answer

Dear Amazon Customer,

In regards, kindly notice that the energy consumption on our Rise is as follows:

Power Consumption
(26.7℃ 60%RH)
30 / 330 / 650 W

As per the Kw this cannot be correctly calculated as many factors may affect, such as the humidity levels of your area, the temperature, the mode settings etc.

Question 3

Does this model have a continuous drainage hose?

Accepted Answer

A hose comes with the machine although we just empty the container so haven't used it. The machine is neat and tidy and is doing a good job.

Question 4

Does it have a Humidistat? is there a display showing the humity level in the room?

Accepted Answer

Dear Amazon Customer,

In regards, the Rise Dehumidifier does not have a digital control panel indicating the room's humidity levels,

but once the set humidity levels have been reached the unit will cut on operation until the humidity levels rise once again.

We hope this information is helpful and we remain at your disposal for any further assistance.
