Vauen Dr. Perl Junior 9mm Pipe Filters - 40 Count - Activated Charcoal & Ceramic Caps

I recently bought a Vauen pipe so thought their own filters would be a good bet. This is my first filter pipe and I have to say I like the filters quite a bit. When using these filters I've found the smoke tends to be much cooler, totally dry and generally more pleasant (not to mention absolutely NO tobacco makes its way though the pipe and into my mouth). I've noticed no difference in flavor compared to using a non-filter pipe with the same tobaccos. I like the draw when using the filter, it gives just enough resistance to remind me of smoking a quality cigar (I generally find non-filter pipes to have a bit too loose a draw for my preferences). I've smoked the pipe twice with these filters so far, each time having two or three bowls. By the end the filter was wrecked (proof that it did its job?!), I wouldn't even think of saving it for "the next time". That works fine with me though, no complaints! Good filters, I plan to get more.

This item arrived very quickly and undamaged. Very nice fit and stopped any tobacco from getting into the stem. I will buy again.

These came with the pipe that I purchased about a month ago. I've smoked a pipe for many years. What I noticed in using these for the first time, and I've used about eight filters now, on a separate occasions, is a cleaner feel in my mouth after I am done. Before the filters, when I was done smoking my pipe, I would sometimes get that kind of burnt feeling on my tongue, or a sense of a film in my mouth. Once I began to use the filters, I noticed even after using the same filter for two bowls in the same night, my mouth feels significantly cleaner, and no "burnt "feeling on my tongue. It's not really a true burn on my tongue, but I'm sure any pipe smoker knows what I'm talking about. I am truly amazed at how much better and cleaner my mouth feels after smoking. Now that I have used these filters, I can't imagine not using them. I am very very pleased, and just purchased the 40 count box.

These filters are pretty loose in my pipe. The white elephant brand fits perfectly.

Been using another brand through Amazon. Thought I’d try these to see how they compare cost a little bit more. Very pleased will be ordering these again much better than what I was using. They don’t fit quite as tight, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem.

They do what they are meant to. Good quality.
