The light is all metal - heavy duty! You will need two people to hang during the process of attaching it to the top plate. The bottom is painted to look like wood. It is dimmable. We love the design. It is a "industrial" gray on top - not black. I also posted a pic of the light bulbs that fit well inside.

We installed this lamp over our new dining room table. It is just a perfect match and blend , just what we were looking for. More than enough piping nipples to work with to get the right height over the table. It also comes with adjustable nipples at the ceiling for vaulted ceilings, which we have at 12ft. high and this made the install a breeze.

We put this in our dining room. It is beautiful, but extremely heavy. I helped my husband put this up, but three people would have been better. Plus, the anchors they supply with the fixture are inadequate. We had to go to Home Depot and purchase ones that were better suited.

The entire piece is metal, some ppl think the base circle is made of wood..its not. The base is distressed to look like wood and if placed high enough no one will know the difference. Assembly is required - my recommendation is set to set all the riser arm pieces but don't tight down all the screws until all of them are set - you will probably need to adjust a few to get all the arms in place. It comes with a 4ft chain and 5ft wire giving you plenty of length to work with.Its a great light, sturdy build, solid chain and mounting plate...and the dimpled/bubble glass covers help diffuse the light reducing bright glare directly from bulbs. It can take up to 60 watt bulbs....however 5 x 60W bulbs is a lot of light for a front porch. We prefer dimmer light so are have moved to 30W bulbs to create a warmly lit portico. We drilled a tiny hole into the mounting plate and fitted the light with an auto-sensor so the light will turn on/off on its own.

This chandelier is the perfect length over our dining room table. I especially liked this style so I could hang greenery on it during the holidays. The material seems a little cheap but you can’t tell once it’s hung. We recently renovated our home & needed something to go over our large farm table. The photo is before the glass vases were put on.

I have had these up for a few months now and I really like them. As pictured and kicks out a lot of light. We have two for a table that seats 10-12 with a bench and 8 chairs.

Beautiful piece. It was just as represented and very easy to set up. It’s new so I cannot represent its longevity but it is a sturdy light and stunning!

The light arrived a little earlier than expected in good sturdy packaging. Everything was in order regarding parts, and the materials seem of excellent quality. Looks exactly as described on-line. It is not being hung quite yet so can’t comment totally on the finished product.
