This is a great purchase . Was under impression it’s steel but it’s plastics . But works well in the wind near the cost to hold down the awning for motorhome . Gave much more security to hold it down in wind . Les stress to roll in your awning at night . Will recommend it . Will be nice if the bring it out in a metal form as well . Only for long time strength .

great idea
What a great idea, spent years messing about with pegs and hitting the awing legs with a hammer, having to remove pegs when the awing has to be retracted and taking pegs pout / in all the time. these make it so easy. Make sure you get the right pegs for soft and hard ground. used it a few times now.

Excellent tie down system .
Excellent. Firm hold with a mix of different pegs. Get a range of Peggy pegs for different ground conditions. You might think you’re on grass, but it could be rocky underneath

Great idea and work well on grass but need to be bedded in on hard standings, we used with screw in pegs and seemed very stable

Muy útil y rápido de poner y quitar la pata del toldo
Lo usamos para fijar al suelo las patas de el toldo de nuestra caravana. Algunas veces ha pasado que se ha levantado viento y hemos tenido que quitar el toldo a toda prisa para que no se rompa. Aunque se pueden poner otros sistemas antiviento, muchas veces estorban, sobre todo en parcelas pequeñas. Normalmente las patas del toldo llevan unos orificios para pasar piquetas de sujección al suelo, que puede ser suficiente. En suelos duros, en caso de emergencia, cuesta tiempo arrancar las piquetas y es engorroso tener que estar quitandolas y poniéndolas cada vez, sobre todo si el tiempo está revuelto. Con este sistema clavas la base, la dejas fija, y es muy fácil y rápido sujetar la pata del toldo a la base. Eso sí, es de plástico, muy duro pero plástico. A ver cuánto dura.
