My Face Book (Hebrew and English Edition)

I bought this because I wanted my son to get a custom to the Hebrew alphabet in addition to the English alphabet. So we look at this photo most every day and it’s great.

Little one loves mimicking the faces and pointing out facial features. Silly is his favorite! 😜

I agree with the other reviewers, there is nothing special about this book. It does not represent Hebrew speaking folks, and seems to be a version of a book that is probably produced in the U.S and translated to many languages. As for the politically correctness, yes, the choices for the pictures are at best, odd.

One of my baby's favorite books is really nice

There are barely any Hebrew words. It's not worth calling this a Hebrew book, if you're looking for a Hebrew book for your baby. On top of that, there are children from all over the world featured, which is great, but there is no one who looks like my little Ashkenazi Jewish/half Israeli baby. The closest is the cute baby on the cover. Furthermore the photos aren't that great. It's like some amateur captured some snapshots of babies and made a book with each page saying one word of an emotion/action.Find a better book to teach facial expressions and write in the Hebrew word with a sharpie and it'd be better than this book. Plus you'd get two languages. I would have returned it but for the price I couldn't be bothered to repack it and go to the post office.

the pictures are fantastic...real babies! black, white, down syndrome...wonderful!
