Got this for my wife after knee surgery. Sturdy, lightweight and adjustable for length. Quality seems good and functioned well. Reasonable price.

This is a nice cane and it fits me but just barely. I am 6’ and have the adjustment set to the maximum height. It is comfortable to use but I’ve noticed that with this type of handle, it is more difficult to casually store when not needed. With my curved handle cane, I can hang it on a bannister or door handle or hang it on a drawer lip when needed.

I have been using this for a few weeks, mainly for dog walking (with lots of sniff-stops) and for shopping with my wife (with lots of waiting around). It's great for what I needed for my back, which is painful when I'm just standing around. The length of the cane is variable in 1" stops, so this is a great first cane for deciding how long you want it. The handle is covered in rubber, and that softens it up a bit AND makes it more stable when you stand it against a wall, for instance.

It was attractive and easy to adjust (my previous sticks had to be screwed for adjustment in several places). My only disappointment is that it wasn't quite as thin (thus graceful), but at least, since - like previous ones - it is lightweight.

For the past decade hip pain experienced during walks has been slowly increasing. On a recent trip, the daily 1/2 walk on city sidewalks was almost unbearable. I've always enjoyed the outdoors, including hiking in the woods. A couple of Youtube videos convinced me first that my problem is bursitis and second that I should try using a cane according to specific, but simple to follow instructions. Last week, on my 75th birthday I took my Cold Steel self defense cane to a nearby rural park and walked about 2 miles of snow covered snowmobile trail, with uphill and downhill, but no discomfort. None at all. That cane is a beast and is several inches longer than the Youtube videos suggested would be right for me. So I ordered this light-weight adjustable baby. It arrived today. UPS leaves packages at the bottom of my snow and ice covered driveway; about 900' from my cabin. On the walk back up, I unpacked it and quickly and easily adjusted it to my height and continued. Because of the proper height and difference in weight, this cane proved to be much more efficient and comfortable to use. That it comes with a quality rubber thingy at the bottom is a plus, saving a few bucks and the hassle of ordering the correct size. I strongly recommend both Youtube (search "physical therapy" and your ailment, and physical therapists in general for diagnosis and treatment of problems with moving body parts.
