this is a good book- plenty of ideas, and simple instructions on how to realize them. first book should be a good joint/assembly book, but thios could be an excellent 2nd book for the begining woodworker.

Good read with lots of ideas, Wish there were more on some subjects but all in all a good reference.

Well done
This book is well written and has good diagrams. One thing: this book assumes that you have a shop full of power tools. If you mostly work with hand tools, you will have to adapt some.

I liked the book
Very helpful. Directions are fairly easy to follow. Projects are not very difficult. But, most of the projects are not ones that I'm interested in building.

Many good furniture plan. This book great for intermediate and advanced skills. If you crazy love with cabinets, bookcases, and shelves then this book is for you. I have few other book about cabinet, bookcases, and shelves... this book have good furniture plan than other book.

Nice designs and very detailed
I'm using this book as a template to design more and better cabinets and other furniture. Nice projects that can really beautify your home and certainly help you increase your carpentry skills.

Unique furniture pieces and detailed plans
Nice book with good diagrams and pictures of furniture pieces. Plans are pretty good with materials lists provided. Not for the beginner woodworker as a basic understanding of joinery and other techniques are assumed.
