Dad had an original giant one of these in the 80s in our house growing up, it was a great gift to give him a tiny working replica!

unlike in the original asteroids, your ship is confined to a circle. this is actually a good thing, since it keeps you from wandering off into death. hyperspace is activated by holding the fire button. and, unlike in the original game, you can actually control where to go in hyperspace. the original asteroids teleports you to a random location and then you got a game over. here, YOU get to control where you go. however, the option to move around would be nice. just add more segments and position them in a way that enables the player to move freely. also, the ufo's don't fire at you. that makes the game less hard, but also less fun. but that doesn't detract from how much i enjoyed this game. since you can only move clockwise or counterclockwise, i think they should have put a knob on it instead of a joystick. or they should have removed the control stick entirely and replaced it with "left" and "right" buttons. just like the original game! i can't think of anything else to say.

Purchased this and another vintage game for my son. Both husband and son love to play the game. Works well and gets lots of use.
