I cannot complain at all about these nerf bars. First of all, they arrived one day after placing the order on Amazon. Gotta love prime! They were packaged like they were shipping a carton of eggs. Bubble wrapped, styrofoam, and lots of tape! Next was the installation. I was able to do this by myself. Once I lined the bolts up to the holes I used the styrofoam that came with it as a wedge to keep it in place (one rectangular piece with a triangular piece on top). A lot of reviews say they had to strip the paint off with a wire wheel. That seemed like a bit of overkill for me. I simply lathered all the bolts with anti-seize and used my air ratchet (1/2 Deep well drive). Boom! all done and cleaned up in less than an HOUR. They look awesome. Sure you lose a little clearance but they have a great aggressive look to them. Before I purchased these I was worried about functionality and how they would fare when they got wet. Well, of course, it rained almost immediately after I finished. The grip is fantastic and the step size is more than adequate to help me get into and out of the vehicle. Finally lets talk price. I did look at another company that made a similar product and was $100 less. Well if you are on the fence between the two of those I would go with this one (come on $350 for sweet nerf bars, not that bad). I can assure you it is solidly built and its super sturdy! All-in-all good buy. Will update if there are issues..... UPDATE: 2 years later....my passenger side has began to rust....but I sent a pic to the Tyger and they sent me replacement nerf bars in less than a week! Excellent customer service!

I searched and searched for the perfect running boards/nerf bars and ended up buying these after returning the Ionic 61 Series to a different vendor. Installation was on the easy side and ended up taking about an hour an a half (minus the time cleaning the paint from the factory bolts), but only because of the lack of room to work. If my truck was lifted or on a lift the installation would have been super easy and taken about 30 minutes. Overall they are very sturdy and look great. Installation Advice: 1. Be sure to clean off the factory bolts with a wire brush. I spent a good amount of time making sure they were free from factory paint. 2. Use a 1/2 inch deep socket and ratchet. I think a 13mm will fit also, but the 1/2 inch seemed to fit better. 3. Recruit the help of another person. I did it by myself and trying to lift up one end with my leg while holding the other end was a little frustrating. 4. DON'T OVERTIGHTEN THE NUTS. I ended up breaking off one of the factory bolts because I tightened too much. Hopefully it won't cause me any issues, but I'll just have to wait and see. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and well worth the cost.

These steps are FANTASTIC! They can be installed by one (strong) person, but a second would be better or a jack stand to rest an end on while they're trued up before being hung (they're 50#+ each). The steps, when installed, stick out far enough to stop a car door from impacting yours but not so far that they look like wings. The finish isn't what I expected - I thought they'd look and feel more like a Line-X bedliner finish but they don't. All the same, they look sharp on my all-black 2019 RAM 1500 Big Horn Black Edition. Note: if your truck has factory-installed step mount bolts like the 2019 RAMs do, be sure you strip the paint of them threads before installing these steps. I spent way too much time and effort trying to wrench bolts over the painted threads before I had the wherewithal to get a wire brush and strip them.

First off. These are quality rails. Nice and heavy. They are solid. Second, it was easy to put on. I am not handy at all but these were simple to put on. My 13 year old helped hold them and slide them on the bolts that were already on the truck! That’s all you need is someone to help slide them on and hold them. Definitely worth it so far. Hope they hold up to the weather and age.

I looked at numerous options trying to find exactly what I wanted. I'm glad I spent the extra time to find these online instead of just going with the basic ones the dealership wanted to give me. They feel sturdy, and in addition to adding the valuable step that was needed getting into the truck, these add to the look I want it to have. A few things to note: 1. They are definitely slim. If you want a wide step, these may not be what you're looking for. 2. They really are pretty easy to install, but the passenger side was ever so slightly misaligned and it took some extra effort to squeeze onto the existing truck support screws. 3. The packaging was great & came with the exact right number of parts. (I've seen issues in prior post).

Heavy guage steel covered in a plastic-like epoxy. Sturdy, strong, durable. They look great too. Installation with one person and a deep socket 30 minutes on the ground. 2 people, 10-15 minutes, easy. The hardware is pre-installed on the truck. Use Threadlocker and Anti-seize to make sure they stay on until you want them off. Similar "flat" side "steps" are almost 100$ more. and the NFab similar style can be 150 n up more, depending on the retailer. *Only Caveat- the end caps could have been metal, or siliconed into the end of the pipes. I did it myself. If water gets inside, they will rust out.

The step -sliders are great. They look great and perform as advertised. I installed them in August, so I'm interested to see how they perform in midwestern winter. I'll report back after winter weather arrives. The nuts that came with the step-sliders were13mm and the length of the bolts on my Ram 1500 Rebel required the use of a deep-well socket. The instructions stated they were 8mm. UPS hurt the box bad, but the contents didn't sustain any damage. The step-sliders are heavy. The box is substantial. Suggest two people to move box and install.

This product is very sturdy and looks good. The only issue was the center support arrived out of alignment to the front and rear supports (Shipping? not likely as it was packaged very well). It would not fit as delivered, but was easily fixed. After a minor adjustment of 1/4" to 3/8" on the center support the item fit perfect. Alignment can be checked visually as it looked "off" (not parallel spacing between the bars and support) prior to the installation attempt and it looked/measured different from the other side. I would give 5 stars as one side fit perfect with no adjustment, but one side did need some minor adjustment and common sense troubleshooting. No need to contact the manufacturer, easily fixed, just not 5 stars.

I’m not sure why anyone is complaining that you need 2 people. In less than an hour I had these installed by myself. Labeling them drivers/passenger would be nice. Very sturdy easy install.

No joke this is the best side step I never had. Very strong and well build. Easy to istall took less than 1 hour with my daughter (13 years old) nothing need to be modified fit right on the spot. Dodge ram Rebel 2019 Crew Cab. I will buy with Tyger anytime!
