I received the motor and start capacitor from Alliance. Start cap was rated 233-270 MFD, the cap reads 230.3, to low to even be in specification. I call the Alliance company in Amazon add 3-19-2024 and the person told me I would have to go through Amazon to ship everything back the entire motor and capacitor. Terrible service. Instead of just sending or swapping out the bad capacitor. The shipping would cost more than the capacitor. I went out and bought a new capacitor for an additional $10.80 to make it work. I call them and received no support so beware who you do business with. There are good suppliers and bad.

This is a genuine Speed Queen replacement motor which installed very easily. It comes with the start capacitor. I expect to get many more years of service from our washer. It's hard to "love" a motor, hence, my 4 star review. Also, if you're willing to wait, you can get this motor for a lesser cost elsewhere or, for even more savings, there are Non-OEM equivalents.

So far working well, it is loud though

We received this motor and packaging was good and shipping was prompt. We placed the motor in our washer and the motor didn't work. We called out a repair person and that person said that we received a faulty motor. We returned the motor well within the 30 day window and only received partial credit even though the return policy states "This item can be returned in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 30 days of receipt. You may receive a partial or no refund on used, damaged or materially different returns". We contacted the seller and they said that the item had a restocking fee of $50. This isn't stated in the return policy. Buyer beware that this seller may be selling you parts that don't work and they will change you to take their non-functional part back.
