Assassin's Creed: Conspiracies

Great artwork here and leaves people wanting for an actual WW2 AC game. C’mon Ubisoft! We could use a game like this!

First time being introduced to a comic book with a series I’ve known to enjoy. This story reintroduces a new protagonist set in WWII setting which was never explored before. It does add a bit of mystery making it more a spy thriller than a historical-sci-fi adventure. The art style and colors are visually stunning and the main character is realistic and likable.Plus, the story is very easy to follow.There isn’t really anything I can think of that I don’t like about it. Some of the villains are at times ridiculous but they are killed off in a satisfying way.Overall, this comic collection is a great way of being introduced to the hit franchise and explores a period not covered in the series that is easy to get and thrilling with likable characters. If you are fan of Assassin’s Creed this is a keeper. As for the casual reader, this also is an enjoyable read that doesn’t hinder any knowledge of the games or previous comics if you are a newcomer to the series or finding a new comic book to read. I would recommend it to anyone and the cover for the collection is pretty rad.
