Skywalker Pocket Sized Economy Compass (1-1/4")

The size of this compass is JUST PERFECT to have in a pants pocket, while walking through the woods or actually ANYWHERE that you're not familiar with.Especially if you're a gentleman who gets talked into going to the mall, and she has somehow forgotten to inform you that it's the NEW mall.So a real good pocket size compass is definitely going to come in handyOR if you're female, and he's taken YOU to a new hardware store or a ten (10) acre gun show.

I bought this for its size to place on the top bar of my carbon fiber bike. It fit great and looks fantastic. But it does not work. It never points north and recently said I was traveling SE when I was traveling SW. I called the 800 number, was transferred, got voicemail, left a voicemail but never received a call back. I wish this had been resolved because I would love to have this compass on my bike WORKING!!!

For an 8 year old boy. Part of his Christmas gifts. He used it to see which direction he was pointing in the woods nearby. His old compass had broken so this was a timely gift.

The needle does not track evenly when you rotate but if you tap the top it will catch up. Would not want to use if your life depended on it but at the price point that is not what this would be purchased for. Good for general direction reference.

I bought two of these in an ill-fated attempt to get my mom and my partner to stop pointing in the WRONG direction when they are telling stories about going to the grocery store, or going north to visit relatives, or heading south for the winter. [Yes, I am obsessive and also overly fond of hopeless projects.] Anyway, these tiny compasses don't work well enough to be called anything but WASTE OF MONEY. One compass had a bubble, and you had to keep tapping it until it pointed somewhat north, and even then it would get stuck. The other one would sometimes point north, but again, you could not rely on it or be in any hurry to determine true north. I returned both worthless tiny round plastic products.

Love the accuracy and clarity. Size feels small but I put it in an id card lanyard for my 5 year old son and he loves navigating our hikes and adventures. 10/10

Smaller than the palm of my hand. Does not point north or in any direction.
