It works well with the xiaomi Mi 1080 home security camera

Can it sit on a table too?

Yes, but this mount stand is really to provide a solid mount for a vertical or overhead installation. If you have a YI camera, it has a base that comes with adhesive that you could use on the table. If you don't want to use the adhesive, you can stand it up on a table, but it won't be very stable (e.g. bumping the table or the power cord would move the camera). So I don't think this is the best option for a table mount really.

Will these work with the new yi home camera 3?

Seems to be the same wall mount and base, so I guess yes.
