Noisy Things That Go (My First)

This thing is touted as "My FIRST Touch and Feel Sound book," so I bought it for my 9 month old. Here is a direct quote from the book; "Trains are made up of an engine (or locomotive) that pulls the train cars. They can be used to carry passengers or cargo. Some trains can travel more than 195 miles per hour (314 kph)!" Uh.....no toddler is sitting through that. Am I homeschooling my kid, or reading them a bedtime book? And I get it, sure, you WANT their little brains to hear some big words and what not, but for your FIRST book? This ain't it. This is for the kid that's starting to read ON THEIR OWN, or will have the patience to listen to you filibuster through the pages. I get that first sentence out, and my daughter is already trying to press the part that makes the sounds go.Ok book, but DEFINITELY not for little ones.

My son has the farm animal version of this book and he loves it so much I read it to him and close it and say THE END and he reopens it the first page again wanting to read it AGAIN AND AGAIN. he's 15 months and he only says a couple words so I'm hoping that finally finding a book he enjoys that reading will help him talk more....I bought this book in hopes that he would want to read it just as much because he LOVES cars and he seems to like looking at it himself but hasn't brought it to me to read yet. We shall see.

This book is literally 4 pages. Even my 1 year old got bored with it. Plus, you have to hit exactly in the center of the area & push really hard to make a sound. Not worth the money.

18 month old has limited interest in this. He LOVES the Farm Animals Touch and Sound by the same company (it’s his favorite!) - but this was not a winner. I think because some of the sounds are beyond his ability to repeat or recreate. Or he has no familiarity (he likes the semi one but his uncle is a trucker and he knows semis).

I didn't realize these books were from a 3rd party seller of 'used' books (great attention to detail, I know). Since it's used, it does have some minor superficial damages, but otherwise, it works and reads as intended. The seller was nice enough to provide a discount when I asked about some of the damages. My infant loves this series (loves it so much he tried to eat the book). There are plenty of bold colors and the noises within the book to keep a newborn entertained.

Great product and quality. Realistic sounds of Vehicles: car, train, airplane, etc. I would buy again. My son is into vehicles and he enjoys this book. He is able to press the buttons and has built dextery in pressing Buttons to generate sound. He mimics the train sound and car sounds.

Our son loves these series of books. For the past few weeks, in the morning, these books are the first go to item. My eyes are almost still shut and he wants to read! (He is 14 months.) I just purchased this one as the latest addition and we have three others. Great addition to a little ones library!

I bought this book for my grandson to go with the other books in this set. Now I know why the book is half the price of all the other books like this. You can hardly hear the sounds. There are only 5 pages with almost no sound so do not but this book. Stick with the other sound books!

I absolutely love these touchy feely noisy books, as does my little one. We actually have 5 now (including this one) from this collection, and this was a brilliant addition.I can promised you little inquisitive ones will have lots of fun with this book or any from this collection, and I would definitely recommend.

Such great quality and it had great real life sounds and images which is so helpful for learning. It would have been easier for toddler to press the buttons if the section was cut out only around the button so it’s easier to find.

One of my baby's favorite books. Nice pictures and sounds. The problem is that I have to press a certain hidden button in the wide-area to make sound, but it is not easy to find. My baby always needs my help. Even I cannot press the real button easily.

My 18-month old loves this book and plays with it all the time. But the buttons are too difficult to find. So I put some stickers on for easier pressing.

Absolutely loved by my 10 month old godson!
