Hollowed out stones for pots and a large boulder for a birdbath. Chews through hard sandstone and even worked well on rhyolite (harder than granite.) Method involved parallel cutting with diamond wheel, knocking out remaining stone fins, and then finishing by shaping and smoothing with this disc. You can actually carve stone with this "flying saucer" profile. Highly recommended.

Was hesitant for price but works great. Use this on carbide teeth for a forestry mulcher cutter head on my excavator. Regular grinding disc's wouldn't touch them. This takes mere seconds on each one. After a few uses its still holding up well. Highly recommended.

Love this grinding wheel. Use it for wood and texturizing metal. Tough blade!

Get's the job done

This worked great to grind the finish off of my concrete slide. I was able to do the entire slide and it still has plenty of life left for other jobs.

I use the Shdiatool grinding disks to carve/sculpt marble and harder stone. They are a game changer! I have a couple of these curved disks, and some cutting blades. They are well made and last. They cut without water so it’s easier for me to do what I need to with them.

This is a heavy duty rust killer! I had to grind away heavily oxidized rust layer and some plain old rust from a set of dock pilings to apply an epoxy coating. My traditional grinding wheels were so slow the job would have taken a lifetime! I got this wheel and it was a game changer. It was atleast 4 times faster and lasted 4 times longer than a grinding wheel. Theses are very aggressive and not for fine work but if you've so serious cleanup, do yourself a favor and get some! Worth 3 times the price...

Oh, does that thing grind! Scary if put in the hands of someone you don't trust, but useful for quicly grinding off imperfections on mild steel (haven't tried other steels, yet). It grinds faster than regular grinding stones of the same size, given the grit, and the rounded shape lets you really gently grind off small details. Will you have to come back with another wheel for a smoother finich if aestyhetics are important? Yeah, but think of the time you'd waste compared to this if you only had a regular stone! No match!
