Craftsman 320-Piece Mechanic's Tool Set

Excellent tool set.

I bought this as a compact tool kit to keep in the back of my truck just in case. Great product, lot of bits that I wasn’t even expecting (every torx I could ask for) BUT I think I might have received a unit that was previously sold, opened, used and returned. Two ratchets were put back with sockets still in them, the multi-bit screw driver had a bit left in it. All forced back into the tray. The bit (a flat) left in the screwdriver actually damaged the plastic tray. Not to mention most of the sockets not being in the right seat according to their sizes. I spent a while after opening just putting everything as it should be. Overall, GREAT PRODUCT, BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. The ratchets are actually much more stout than I expected and theres enough variation of bits, sockets, extensions, allen keys that I don’t think I’ll be short of tools in any circumstance (27 year old ford, not a whole lot of complicated fasteners)

Really good product for a really good price.

We used our set while doing car maintenance and it had every size we needed for removing hardware. My only complaint was one of the interchangeable screwdriver heads breaking at the tip, but the set came with 2 of them so this wasn't a major issue. Craftsman products are great for the price and work well in every situation I've encountered. This kit is worth its weight as a decent starter set.

I am extremely satisfied with the amount of decent quality tools for such a reasonable price. I wouldn't use these if I was working with them everyday to make a living, but for the hobby mechanic or around the house work, they're great. Strangely, the 11/32" deep socket came completely unmarked. Guess that one got by quality control, but it's not worth taking to Sears to swap it out. The box is sturdy plastic. It feels like I could stand on it if I needed to without buckling and I weigh almost 200lbs. The organization is great as well. Only thing I feel like I need to supplement this kit with is a nice collection of wrenches... I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Thank you!

I don't like how theres some duplicates in 6 and 12 points and the 20mm and 7/8 are 3/8 socket instead of 1/2 amongst others. It doesn't come with spark plug puller but for $240 your not going to be able to beat this value. I do like how everything is nicely organized so I can grab what I need without having to look around. The case is very sturdy even though it is plastic. Theres also some small room to add a few things to it where the wrenches are located.
