UTech Mini Fingerprint Padlock, biometric Lock, no Need Keys & Password, Used for Cabinet, Luggage

This fingerprint padlock is a very good buy. I am very satisfied with the quality and function, it is not too large in size or slow to unlock. A little touch from my finger and it is unlocked. I almost didn't feel the time it took to recognize my fingerprint, and it was unlocked in an instant. Small size, then I can use it in different places, suitcases, lockers are no problem. The texture of the metal makes me feel quite comfortable, although I don't know what material it is. The more surprising thing about it is that this lock can store up to ten fingerprints. This way, the rest of my family has no problem unlocking it. This feature is really a good one. It is an excellent product. I have to admit that this is a pleasant shopping experience.

Shocking quality lock can easily, without any effort be broken to render lock totally and completely useless!!! At £30 would expect at the very least that the most vulnerable point be pushed down into the main body of unit. Gutted that the “OCD” side of me had ripped the packaging up and threw into the recycling bin. Still, I will attempt to return product. Advice to all, if you are stupid enough (as I was) to purchase, keep all packaging for easy return. In summary as much use as the pointless small padlocks people put on their luggage when holidaying. Using a zip tie would duplicate the Security of this product

It is a good item as only you can use it? (open it) many more people should use them!

Just what I needed. I no longer have to worry about items going missing from my work bag if I have to pop to the ladies room while visiting clients. I can leave my wheelie bag with receptionists without being concerned if anyone has removed any of the expensive contents. I have purchased three of these in total so far because of their ease of use. There is one bag where the lock is too thick to latch on but this has been solved by using a traditional lock then looping this lock through it. I have already lost the key to the traditional lock but it's already doing its job allowing me to use this lock to keep everything secure during my daily travels.

I bought 2 of these to protect my camera bag. Very easy to set up with up to 10 different fingerprints. The padlocks unlocked very easily. However, after very light use for 6 months, the batteries went flat. Plugged into a USB overnight and it would not charge, would not work even when plugged into a USB power bank. Tried 2 cables and 2 different chargers. The padlock reverted to unlocked. This happened to both of them. Would not recommend this brand. Now have another brand which are working perfectly.

Excellent very sturdy secure and easy to use would thoroughly recommended it.

I bought the product to use in my swim club locker. Takes 6-8 scans before it recognises my finger prints. Really inconvenient. Getting rid of it now.

I bought this for my son to use on his school backpack to keep his valuables safe. It is light and much easier and quicker to use than a normal combination padlock, and also stops other kids trying to find out his code to open his bag as a 'joke' - which can be important in a school setting! Much better than one requiring keys, given the chances of these being lost. He has had no trouble using it; I have also set it to recognise my fingerprint (which is useful) and I occasionally have a bit more trouble, but I think that is because I have dry skin. It is quite expensive compared with the price for other similar sized combination locks, but the advantages (in a school setting at least) make it well worth it in my opinion.

Ebenso innovativ: die Lithiumbatterie kann über USB aufgeladen werden, was einen Wechsel überflüssig macht. So weit so gut! Der eigentliche Schloss-Korpus misst 4x3cm. Erwähnt wird eine Zinklegierung, deren Festigkeit ich nicht beurteilen kann. Der eigentliche Sicherheits-Bügel hat wenig mehr als den Umfang eines USB-Kabels. Will sagen: Das Vorhängeschloss scheint mehr „gadget“ denn Sicherheitskomponente. So ist in der Beschreibung auch von Möbeln, Koffern und Handtaschen die Rede. Dies sind Objekte bei denen das Schloss die Hemmschwelle sich an fremdem Eigentum zu schaffen zu machen ohne weiteres anheben kann. Den Inhalt meines Kellers würde ich jedoch mit diesem Schloss nicht mit gutem Gewissen schützen. Wäre es dreimal so groß und bestünde aus Stahl, würde ich mich glücklich schätzen, solch ein Vorhängeschloss zu besitzen.

Solide et simple d'utilisation, ce cadenas peut être utilisé pour des casiers et autres systèmes de protection. Sa configuration se fait très simplement via pression longue du bouton blanc en forme de losange qui passe en clignotant pour prendre l'empreinte de votre doigt dans plusieurs positions pour une meilleure précision de reconnaissance. Le cadenas est rechargeable par usb et à une excellente tenue de batterie. Pour ceux qui se posent la question (je me la suis aussi posée) le cadenas refusera une fermeture s'il n'a plus de batterie, il vous préviendra avec un voyant lumineux. Le lecteur d'empreintes fonctionne à la perfection. Très bon produit pour ceux qui en ont marre de se trimballer des clés :-).

Candado desbloqueable por huella dactilar muy facil de configurar y usar. Cuando lo configuras incialmente, tienes que hacer como en el movil, es decir, poner tu huella en varias posiciones, para que el candado reconozca tu huella aunque no la pongas exactamente en el centro (asi reconoce tambien los laterales). Una vez configurado, es tan facil como poner tu dedo en el sensor y se abre sin necesidad de nada mas. El candado en si es el tipico de tamaño medio que va perfecto para maletas, taquillas o cajas de seguridad de tamaño pequeño. No es valido para cadenas a no ser que sean muy finitas ni para cerrar sitios donde vayas a dejar cosas valiosas, ya que como cualquier candado medio, si lo quieren romper, lo rompen sin mucha dificultad. El candado lleva una bateria que se carga mediante cable micro USB (incluido) y que cuando esta baja, parpadea avisandote de que lo cargues. En el caso de que no lo cargues y se quede sin bateria, lo unico que necesitas hacer es cargarlo (con una bateria externa) y ya lo puedes abrir, asi que no hay riesgo de que se quede bloqueado. El candado permite almacenar varias huellas, para que lo puedan abrir los miembros de tu familia, o amigos... Un candado curioso e interesante, que te ahorra el tener que llevar contigo una llave o perder el tiempo con combinaciones.
