Excellent Basmati Rice
By far the best Basmati rice I've ever cooked. Nice long grains that are fluff, excellent flavor and grains don't stick together. Just beautiful rice. I will never use another brand!

Taste more like white rice, but looks like basmati
Maybe I just have to get over the fact that basmati rice has changed forever. I have yet to find a basmati rice that has that natural sweet aroma and taste. They obviously have manufactured basmati rice like cotton, not as good as it used to be. The grains are long and they absolutely look like basmati, BUT they have a bland, white rice taste.

This rice is not the same rice I used to buy they changed the product it's very bad no one should buy it anymore , the packaging is the same but not the quality . I'll never buy it again .

If you're looking for an extra long grain basmati rice then this is the one for you. I've purchased many different brands where the packaging has claimed the rice to be extra long grain and was not. In fact, compared to these other kinds of rice the Daawat rice could be classed as XXX long grain.
