Plax Advanced PreBrushing Dental Rinse, Soft Mint, 24 Ounce

I need to fight plaque and gum issues, being that I have deep 'pockets' between my teeth. I have dental cleanings every 3 months for this reason and still it's not enough to fight off plaque, which causes bone loss issues for me. After researching online, I found Plax. Reasonably priced and it works as a 'precursor' to brushing, which I found out after buying it and reading the label more closely. You only need a bit (I use it twice a day and seems to last me 1.5-2 months, I just ordered my 2nd bottle and subscribed for bi-monthly deliveries), and it foams through your mouth - then you spit (no rinse after!) and start brushing. For brushing too I learned that it might be beneficial (I am no dentist by any means) to not rinse after brushing, only spit out the excess as it should help the active ingredients doing their job longer/better.

I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. I bought it on a whim because the price was lower than other mouthwashes. I figured it’d be like any other mouthwash, but I was completely wrong!! PLAX is now my absolute favorite step in my teeth cleaning routine. It’s meant to be used before brushing, which felt weird at first but now I don’t think I could go back to the old way now. There’s something about it that actually makes my mouth feel clean, not just like I swished around some minty alcohol. After brushing, everything feels smoother, fresher, and like it actually worked better because of that first rinse. I’ve been using Plax for about 2 years and I am convinced it works as advertised. For context, I started to use an electric toothbrush 3-4 years ago and I started using Plax about 2 years ago. Months after using an electric toothbrush, I went to get a cleaning. My dentist almost instantly knew I switched to an electric toothbrush. She explained it’s very obvious to tell who uses an electric toothbrush and who doesn’t. About 2 years later, I looked into pre-rinse mouthwashes and got some Plax. The first time I used it, I was amazed to find out clean my teeth felt. I was very skeptical at first because I assumed the pre-rinse just coated your teeth with something to make them feel clean. After a few months using Plax, the moment of “truth” came when I went to get a cleaning. The dental hygienist was surprised at how little plaque there was. I was shocked to hear that. After the cleaning, my dentist came in for a check up. She told me that my brushing/flossing habits clearly improved. I told her that was interesting and I asked her about Plax pre-rinse . She smirked and explained that pre-rinses are not as effective as they say they are and electric toothbrushes do most of the heavy lifting. My brushing and flossing habits did not change. Yet, the dental hygienist and my dentist both noticed less plaque after I started using Plax. That’s why I believe Plax works.

This was recommended by my oral hygienist as a good way to fight plaque. I looked in several stores and couldn’t find it so I went to Amazon and, of course, they had it. Anyway, long story short, it works great and I have reordered it. A little pricey but worth it.

I always use this before I brush my teeth

A fantastic product that works, i watched a video on youtube and thought i would take a gamble and it paid off. I used it for about a week and two bits of Tarter came off my teeth, which made very impressed because i had tried taking it off with tooth picks before i tried Plax and so hard and wouden't come off. Then after 4 weeks i tried the tooth picks again and the Tarter was really easy to break off, i couden't believe this strong Tarter that can only be removed by a Dentist i was told was coming away so easy i have been able to see all the bottom teeth again instead of seeing horible Tarter. I work in customer service so i learned to smile and not show my bottom teeth off but now i can go back to that nice smile i have thats all natural. But one side effect is it gives you a dry mouth and sometimes you wake up with morning breath taste in your mouth but you use the miracle that is Plax and brush your teeth the bad taste goes away. A fantastic product who i hope they will stock for many years to come thanks again Amazon you have got a buyer for life.

Plax is truly fantastic, I thoroughly rinse a small spoonful around my mouth for one or two minutes, in the morning and evening, and even before I start to brush my teeth you can feel and see bits and pieces just come away from your teeth, Its amazing. My teeth feel and look so clean. I was looking at a possible solution to my dental cleaning problem on YouTube, and a American lady was demonstrating and explaining just how good and effective Plax is. although the lady on YouTube is not employed by the company that make this product, I believe she should be offered a position in advertising. Sadly Plax is not sold in England. So I had to order the Plax from the U.S. and so had to wait ten days for delivery, But well worth the wait. And terrific value. No more expensive visits to the dentist just to remove plaque. God bless America.

Enlève vraiment la plaque si nous suivons l’instruction de laisser le produit 1 minute seulement Trop longtemps endommage nos dents, elles deviennent trop transparentes et moins d’une minute ne blanchit pas assez. Ça fait des années que je l’utilise et c’est vraiment utile!
