The Bripe works as advertised, wonderful sip of coffee.
It works well, well made, tastes good. It's like bringing a 20 piece science kit on a hike, isn't sustainable without bringing a can of butane, can only quench a keebler elf, and the plastic straw quits. (Just pull silicone bong tube covers over the remaining tube handle.) Stick to Turkish coffee in the dirt folks. This is novelty for attention seeking hipsters with an audience... which is still better served using a mini butane torch with a cezve pot. It will make a nice gift for a geek, and is a true challenge to prepare while riding a unicycle because sometimes life is better apparently when you complicate simple things.

I collect pipes and love coffee more than most
My girlfriend got this for me as a gift. I am an avid coffee drinker and I do like to partake in recreational cannabis. I have a collection of really cool, unique pipes. When I received this, I flipped out! Immediately I grabbed some coffee and checked it out. Coffee tastes great. What a unique way to make a shot of basically espresso. I love hiking and camping. I am sure this thing will get used a LOT. I have only had one shot, I did experience some grounds. I do believe it was user error though, the screen did slide around as I made my shot. I'm sure if I am more careful, there will be no grounds. The carrying case is awesome, and fits everything in there. The torch lighter is really nice, but I wish it locked. You have to hold it down for the whole time you are brewing, but hey like I said cannabis is my thing so I have a few torches already laying around. Most of the reviews are calling this "hipser" and I can see that. Maybe they don't like cannabis like I do. This is just another cool pipe for my collection

Fancy little thing…
Product is excellent and well built. Great, prompt delivery by sender and received it ahead of time even though I’m halfway around the world. Only a little disappointed that I found it being sold online for much cheaper after making the purchase!

Expensive for a sort of coffee gimmick/novelty item
Kinda silly. i knew what I was getting but still wanted to try it. It's just not enough coffee to really enjoy and then you need to heat it all up again to refill it and seems to me it uses alot of fuel. It's fun and funny kind of a coffee gimmick, but not worth 100$. It feels like you must be a really bad addict to do all that work just for a little crack pipe hit of coffee and not even get the experience of a full relaxing sit down drink. "yeah i have to carry this around in case i get a craving; just need a little hit to keep me going". Anyway, just not likely to use much

Good brew, construction quality issues
Great tasting coffee! A fun and enjoyable way to experience coffee. Like sipping espresso anytime anywhere. The first two that I ordered did leak, one where the stem meets the resevoir. Another at the base of resevoir. The third the mouthpiece cracked in half but had the second one to switch it out. So maybe without those issues it does produce a nice pull coffee and hopefully those kinks can be worked out.

Needs better build quality, because I *will* be showing this off
I purchased this as a goof, but having now briped my first bripe, it might just be my new daily driver for caffeination purposes. It makes a lovely little shot of strong coffee--not quite espresso, but very satisfying nonetheless. It looks utterly pretentious and ridiculous, like a steampunk crackpipe, but it's actually quite efficient for making a quick brew with minimal space and weight. It says you can add milk or sugar, but I wouldn't. It's difficult clean the straw beyond just rinsing water through it, and if you're using good beans it'll taste great black anyway. My one real complaint, and the reason for one star off, is build quality. It seems well-designed and durable enough, but this was clearly churned out by two guys in a garage. There's random stray solder on the pipe, chunks out of the cork, and rough mold marks on the mouthpiece. The lighter is functional, but cheap and hard to use--I'll probably end up replacing it. Also, putting the pipe on the *outside* of the packaging means one side of it is covered with tiny dings. For $55 + tax I would have expected better. I hope the garage guys improve their process, because I'll be giving at least one more of these as a gift and showing it to my friends.

Wonderful
Gifted it to my father in law who loves finding new ways to make coffee. He said when growing up, he always pictured himself with a pipe, but he never got into tobacco, so this will have to do. Silly, fun. And a great conversation starter, if nothing else.

I hate that I love it
I dont know why I wasted my money on something like this but it's fantastic. It is made well with quality materials. The torch is serviceable but not the best, the thermometer works well enough. My only criticism is that the filter that fits Inside meant to keep the coffee grinds out is very thin and fragile. Easy to misshapen or misplace but if your careful, it works well. It basically brews a very strong espresso shot of coffee. I like to take it camping and either hold it over a flame by the mouth piece or on its stand and stick it right next to some coals for a pick me up shot of caffeine. Easy to rinse out and reload or store away in it's nice little pouch. The pouch is very necessary I would not carry these things loosely in a pack. The pouch keeps it all safe, organized and in one place.
