ASICS Men's Solution Speed FF 4 Tennis Shoes

I've worn all four of the solution speed models, and this is a nice update after the FF3, especially if you need some more room in the forefoot.I liked the FF3, but it's pretty raw and had to stop wearing it because my pinky toes were getting ruined. There is noticeably more room in the forefoot area so you won't have to amputate your pinky toes! The same size in FF4 (9 for me) is not as tapered at the toebox and a little shorter. This version maintains a snug fit overall but gives people with a wider forefoot a chance to keep wearing the shoe.Compared to FF3: the platform is noticeably more stable and stiff, which is great for aggressive movement - a bit heavier, but provides more confidence in movement. Cushioning is noticeably better - provides more in the forefoot and heel while maintaining the feel of a speed shoe. Feels lively with some spring/rebound to it. The upper is more forgiving around the foot with less stiff materials used. This was a little surprising since higher end Asics court shoes (FF3, Court FF2 and Gel Resolution) tend to have more polyurethane wrapping. More of a personal preference/adjustment thing though since I got used to it quickly and it still provides very good foot lockdown. The full length plastic speed truss is great, makes the shoe feel solid with good rebound.Highly recommend for quality and performance, Asics makes the best court shoes IMOP after having tried too many others!

These are great. Good court grip. Very agile. Ankle support. Good toe box and very comfortable. Light weight.

I have narrow flat feet and nobody makes a B width anymore so Asics is one of the few brands out there that runs narrow.I bought these shoes for pickleball. The insert that is supplied with the shoe is flimsy so I researched a better insert on CHAT GPT which offers better support. I played my first game with the shoes and overall they performed well with respect to support and traction. They are on the stiff side and the tongue is digging into my left foot somewhat which may resolve itself once broken in. Meanwhile I changed the shoelace pattern slightly and mat add a small foam insert to the area if it persists.Overall a good shoe from a very limited selection universe for me.Update: I purchased inexpensive tongue adhesive pads from the local shoe repair store and the shoes are now a perfect fit and are super comfortable!

Great pair of pickleball shoes for my narrow heals. Toe bed fit was great but again i wear a B width boot. 3rd pair of Asics so yes i do like them. Lateral stability support was great and the toe bed allowed to launch quickly during my matches.

I bought these instead of the Asics Gel Resolution X because I heard bad reviews about those. I've played with the Asics Gel Resolution 9's for the last two years and have loved them. These new Asics are a good second place to those, in my opinion. They are much lighter and a bit stiffer, but they're breaking in nicely and I'm really enjoying the additional speed they give me.

Too small, get a size bigger

Excellent tennis shoes. Much better than the previous model FF3. Nice traction, fits really well, true to size.

Great shoes that feel a bit more like the FF 2 design than the FF 3. They are light, durable, and a solid value. Just a heads up: they run narrower than the last version. I had to increase my order by 0.5 from my regular size to get a good fit.
