Premium White Cloth Rags 1/2lbs

Surprisingly excellent quality, strong fabric, nearly lint-free, and evenly cut without jagged edges or rips. I use products like this for fine portraits (oil on canvas) and go through rags and wipes in huge quantities. Generally, I just buy the cheapest wipes I can find and cross my fingers that they don't suck. After receiving my first order from this company, I can safely say I will reorder from them in the future. If these were cut from reclaimed t-shirts it's impossible to tell. I don't have an issue with reclaimed t-shirts, but many companies don't bother telling you that's what you're buying, then they don't bother to care for the fabric or fold it nicely. This company does everything right. * Top-quality t-shirt material: They look, feel, and smell like fresh fabric and not reclaimed t-shirts. Soft, pliable, easy to fold, and no rolled edges. * Nearly lint-free: All other wipes of this type have copious amounts of lint that you must shake loose before using on a painting (or you'll end up with lint contamination in the paint). These have no obvious lint right out of the package, and a single shake of each cloth may dislodge one or two tiny floaters, but that's it. * Bright white: The bright white color makes it easy to spot a clean section of cloth I can safely use for detail work smudging, blending, or wiping. This is extremely delicate work, and just one tiny spatter of paint on the cloth can ruin weeks of work. Having a nice white cloth eliminates the possibility of unintentional color introduction on the canvas. * Nice packaging: Usually these wipes come in a regular plastic bag; these come in a neat and tidy zippered bag. Each cloth was folded and placed in the bag, not shoved in and crumpled up. The zippered pouch makes it easy to seal up the wipes and store them without worrying about them falling out, gathering dust, or accidentally collecting scents or paint spatters that can damage a painting. I imagine these would be excellent for any artist in any medium, carpenters, house painters, for use in shops and garages, etc.

These Cotton Knit Wiping Cloths by Axtion Products are by far the best I have come across. As a Woodworker, there's nothing more frustrating than wiping on a beautiful Danish oil or varnish then realizing you left behind a old socks worth of fuzzies. None of that frustration here. Every one of the cloths is this package are consistent, clean, pure white and brand new. All cut almost perfectly square and al consisting of the same absorption ability, texture, softness, color, etc. I purchased the 1lb quantity and am very pleased with the amount as well. Approx 18 - 12" x 14" sheets plus about 5-6 sheets half that size. They last a long time, the photo shown is about 1-2 months after purchase so there's maybe 5 - 6 missing. I cut them down to small, maybe 7" x 6" sheets to use for finishing individual projects, just storing it in a paint can or similar in between coats. As a previous reviewer mentioned, they are thin, but this is a good thing if you aim to use them for the same uses as myself. Additionally, I would definitely recommend these for cleaning glass or any other solid or reflective surface that beckons a lint free utensil. They are large and sturdy enough to take on your average cleaning task. I'm probably going to purchase the 5lb quality very soon so there's no worry of running out.

These are nice and thick and all pieces are very uniform, which is awesome. Other companies just throw a bunch of old T-shirts with seams in the bag. My only complaint is that these used to be much thinner, which is specifically why I bought them (I use them for decal application and they rip with thicker material). But technically that’s a great thing if you’re looking for a stain application cloth. Good thickness, a lot of absorbency, and perfectly cut pieces.

Excellent quality and feel and durability. No flimsy scraps, but good pieces to work with. Stain resistant and tough. Were a zero waste-targeted household, and have endless use for these in many products I make myself and reuse over and over. I love this for many uses!!!

I buy these 1 lb. at a time for woodworking (mostly finishing). They're good but not great. They once came in a zippered , pleated heavy plastic bag that was great for storage and useful even after the rags were used up. No more. Just a shrink-wrapped bunch of rags. Also, they were once smooth t-shirt material. Now it's a ribbed stretchy cotton material that likes to curl at the edges. Maybe I'm picky, they're just rags after all, albeit expensive ones! They work almost the same, so the product description isn't wrong, but I'm down-grading this review because of consistency issues. Oh, and even though the size seems to change from package to package, I still find 1 rag way too big for wiping shellac or varnish, so I invariably end up cutting them in half.

The towels worked really well for gun cleaning. These are the type of towels I've been searching for 20 years. I use to use a lot of patches to clean my guns and now I will use these towels. The towels are perfect size for gun cleaning and can be cut shorter if preferred. I am very pleased with this purchase. I mentioned the product to a local gun store and they stated that it is something they should add to their shelf.

These pieces are just the right size to apply finish to my metal products. I need 100% Cotton with low lint, T-shirt style. These rags fit the bill. I will buy a bigger package from the same company the next time I need rags.

I bought these t-shirt cloths for use with my art (cleaning brushes, etc.), but they are also helpful with various cleaning jobs around the house (dust cloths & are wonderful window cleaning cloths!).
