The sub-title to this book is: Your Step-by-Step Start Up Guide, and I can tell you this, Entrepreneur is 'the source' when it comes to guides and information to anything related to planning, research, marketing and starting any type of small business, and if you want to open up a freight brokerage business, you cannot go wrong with this book. The good news is that this book is short, yet, packed with solid information to get you on the right road towards getting you started in the freight brokerage business. However, it would not be fair for me to say that this is ALL that you need to be successful in this business. I have worked in the transportation business since 2003 and I can tell you that is is a rough and tumble, extremely competitive business and you have characters in this business that will chew you up in a minute. It is possible to earn in excess of hundreds of thousands of dollars in this business per year and though this book is a good start, you should really consider exposing yourself personally to the trucking industry before going 'all-in' as a Freight Broker. This book will give you the 'language and knowledge' so that you at least do not go in as a total rookie.

This book teaches you good qualities in business. Ins and outs of the trade. I recommend purchasing this book for yourself

The book was written in before the internet mainstream era. It`s ok, have nice examples, but it need to be updated to the current brokerage scenario and the new technologies around.

Great begining and intermediate book. Full of great facts, figures and honest appraisals from established people in the business. A great purchase. Met ll my expectations for going into this business.
