Destiny Limited Edition Strategy Guide

Super shiney and very helpful. Could do with an index but that is just me.My copy came sealed so I was able to use the code to download the digital version with no problems, as some others have had. The digital version is updated with information about the expansion that has already been released and therefore will be with the new one.Great value for money and the price I paid was much cheaper than other video game retailers.Sorry about the title of this review, I couldn't help myself.

Most big games don't come with instructions now a days. So they have started writing illustrated books to guide you through the game your trying to get through.This book is not only a good read with all the help you need to get through the game, but it's graphics are beautiful.

I wanted to search the free eGuide for a member of this games extensive production staff, but despite having a 16 character alpha numeric code in the rear of this hardback book and a link to the site it wouldn't provide me with the eGuide that I had paid for saying that the code had already been used (the product came vacuum sealed so I don't see how anyone in the distribution chain could have used it) and on clicking on Contact Us as invited, to resolve the problem, I was directed to a 404 page. This is not good enough and I cannot in good faith recommend Prima / BradyGames books to anyone on this basis. I will not purchase another from them in future.EDIT: SINCE RESOLVEDThankfully, it has been resolved and I finally have access to the eGuide. I sent them a .pdf of the digital receipt as Amazon hadn't included a printed one in the package that I could photograph and then used OS X Photo Booth to grab an image of the book held up in front of my face as proof that I had received it. I had considered deleting my review, but I will edit it instead.

Bought for my son, who is very happy with the product. I was happy with the condition and speed of delivery, thank you.

It is a OK guide book however the game itself is for ever growing so this book is a little pointless but it does like nice.

Excellent....... If a book can be beautiful then this certainly is its perfect for a big fan of Destiny it's presented in a way where it can be looked at as a piece of art.The guide instructions itself are very easy to use.

VERY HIGH QUALITY PULICATION STILL PLAYING THE GAME WHICH I LOVE SO I WILL POST AGAIN AT A LATE DATE WHEN I CAN GIVE A BETTER VIEW OF THE GUIDE CONTENT WITH REGARD TO THE GAME.

***UPDATED***Code at the rear of the book does not work, apparently my code has already been redeemed despite my book coming factory sealed. is it possible to give this product zero stars?***END UPDATE***If I could only use two words to describe this product, I could use either "Completely Disappointed", "No Don't", or "Clearly Rushed"I used to work in a Computer Game store so on my break I would sometimes read the newer Strategy Guides to help me explain the workings of the newer product to the customer so I feel I have read quite a few of these products over the years, and I have to say that this is a complete and utter waste of money.My belief is that a guide for a game similar to this, I would be expecting that all of the collectibles items would be highlighted on a map of each level. This guide however, just has a one line hint of their location located throughout the chapter, these are named as "Bungie's Dead Ghost Hints".an example of this is from the Moon chapter of the book,1. Archer's LineHINT: AccelerationYes. Thanks for that BradyGames, that really narrows that down in the Six levels of that chapter of the story......Another example of the rushed feel of the guide is when you complete the tutorial level and are first directed to the Tower, you have to choose one of four weapons to be used as a starter weapon, but the guide makes no reference to this at all and does not even recommend a weapon to select.I have not been able to find a list of any of the abilities of each of the three types of guardians anywhere in this book and the book merely suggests that you play each character for a bit before deciding which one to actually choose.....The only positive for this guide is the excellent print quality, they have used quality paper and the concept art and images used throughout is of a good quality, the publisher has simply given the printers too much money and the author very little.In all honesty avoid this book, In my eyes, the BradyGames name has been tarnished by this rushed book, and i will from now on avoid purchasing a similar product.If you want to see some nice concept art for a beautiful game in a nicely printed hardback book then yes this is for you, if you want to complete this game 100% then avoid this and wait for a better written guide to appear of gamefaqs.com or ign

I love this book. It's like the Bible for Destiny. It tells you how to do every mission, what weak spot(s) (if any) an enemy has, and even tells you when public events spawn (more-or-less a 25-35min time frame and what it can be.) This comes with a somewhat durable plastic 'cover' and when you take it off it either shows a Warlock, Titan, or Hunter on the front. This book comes in handy if you want to do things yourself; especially when finding the gold chests. It tells you exactly where to find them. The only down side is that Bungie made finding the Ghosts still decently difficult; they only give you clues as to where they are (and since Destiny has a pretty big game world, it's very vague.) It does give you tips as to what enemies can do and what they gain when you increase the difficulty - such as saying that Hive Knights gain Arc Shields, Angry means enemies don't Flinch (which is bad when fighting Cabal Phalanxes) and much more.

Anche se solo in inglese le descrizioni sono così dettagliate che la lettura è solo più che piacevole, tutto a colori foto e immagini impeccabili.Amazon veloce nella consegna, unico appunto l'imballo inesistente; fortunatamente a me la copia è arrivata integra senza alcun segno ne colpo agli angoli ma un pò di pluriboll non avrebbe guastato!
