Product description Review: Stop looking and buy this one! - Well made and extremely solid. My microphone (currently a FiFine 688t) is extremely light, yet I was able to dial the tension back on the spring arm enough (barely) so I could set it anywhere in the arms vertical range and it stays put. The amount of adjustment horizontally is insane! Between the three arms (2 fixed horizontally plus the spring arm) there is no reason that you shouldn't be able to get your mic positioned EXACTLY where you want. And that's not all! The microphone mount on the end of the spring arm swings 180° vertically AND horizontally extending the already ludicrous adjustability. But wait, there's more! On the microphone mount just before the 1/4-20 mount stud is a necked down area where you can mount a light if you want to. It also comes with the obligatory 3/8 and 5/8 mounting adapters. Did I mention that the desk mount is very beefy? Well it is! I'm pretty sure that once it's mounted it ain't going anywhere. All of the 360 swivels are very close fits, they have set screws where you can adjust the friction and I guess to keep the swivel joints from coming apart. I didn't bother tightening them. The tension in the swivels is just right for me as is, and at no point have the arms tried to lift out of their mounts even when pulling up to raise the microphone. And there is little to no handling noise when swinging, raising or lowering the microphone. And believe me, if there had been, the FiFine mic would have picked it up, it's notorious for picking up handling noise. If I have any gripe with the arm it's the cable management. The cable isn't run through the body of the arms, but rather run through clips on the bottom of each arm. Not horrendous, but something to be aware of if, for instance, you were using this in a video setting where it would detract from its otherwise clean look. That said, this arm is absolutely worth the price of admission. I just wish it came in white. Edit: I have upgraded my microphone to a Rode PodMic, which is substantially heavier than the Fifine. After adjusting the tension the action of the arm is still buttery smooth. Adjusts easily and stays where you put it. Review: Solid, Reliable, and an Amazing Mic Arm – Insane Value! - As someone who’s been working in audio production for quite a while, I’ve used my fair share of mic stands and mounts, some costing a few hundred more than this one. I picked up the Neewer MS002 mic arm hoping for a cleaner setup and more desk space, and it absolutely delivered. What really stood out to me is the extremely sturdy, solid base. Unlike every other mic arm I’ve purchased before, even some of the premium brands, this one doesn’t wobble, drift, or feel like it’s balancing on hope. The base locks in tight and gives the whole arm a confidence you don’t often get at this price point. The arm itself holds my Shure SM7B mic with no sagging or slippage. It moves smoothly and quietly, and I really appreciate the low profile as it keeps the mic out of my line of sight when I’m working at the screen, which is a plus during long sessions. Setup was simple, the clamp is well built and gentle on the desk, and the overall look is clean and professional. I’m quite humbled by how well this performs for the price. Neewer really nailed it with this one. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a reliable, no-fuss mic arm that just works.

I love this Mic arm so much!
I really do love this mic arm! It is super sturdy it has a good length to it and since it has multiple sections that are movable you can customize it to however you would like it to function. You can also take out one of the middle pieces If you want to take out that middle piece because it's too long. I like the length on it though because it reaches from one side of my desk all the way to the middle of my desk where I do all my recording. And then it accordions back and off of my desk and out of the way where my microphone isn't going to get damaged or smacked around. I really love the look of it but more importantly the functionality is just the thing that really does it for me. I do wish if I had one complaint it would be that I wish it had instead of the clips for your cable something more like the elgato wave low profile where it has the metal piece that will come out and you can run your cable through there. However this keeps the cables out of the way pretty well and if you leave yourself enough slack you won't have any problems moving this microphone any way that you want to move it. I think if you're looking for a good mic arm that is going to be nice and sturdy and holds even or heavy mic like a r Rode pod mic or something It is going to be more than enough. Also the other thing that I really love about this arm is that it has a few different options on the heads so you can put on some lighting or anything else that will take that slightly different head for lights or other mount options you could even do a camera or something on it. I think it's an all-around super versatile well-built choice.

The low-profile mic arm endgame—holds everything and moves like butter.
If you’re looking for a low-profile mic arm that delivers premium functionality without the premium price, this is it. The Neewer MS002 punches way above its price point. It’s extremely versatile, able to support heavy microphones like the Samson Q9U, compact models like the MV7, and even non-mic gear like an Elgato Prompter or mirrorless camera—no wobble, no sag. The pneumatic damping system gives it a smooth, controlled feel when repositioning, and the 360° swivel and articulation range are excellent. It reaches far without eating up desk space, and it tucks away nicely when not in use. Cable management is built in and actually works—clean, simple, and out of sight. Whether you're podcasting, streaming, or setting up a hybrid mic/camera rig, this mount can handle it. This is the endgame for low-profile arms. You won’t find better for the price—Neewer knocked it out of the park.

Pretty good price for the performance and functionality.
It's not perfect, but in a world where some *other* companies are charging 100$ for a mic arm, it's certainly good enough for me. Great range of smooth motion (no springs creaking), and it overall feels quality. My only complaint is that there are a couple small areas that do have a very short period of resonance if you hit them right, mainly on the plastic sides. It's also not particularly good at rejecting desk/other noise by itself. Depending on your mic and shock mount, this may not be a concern, but it is something to keep in mind.

Great mic arm, amazing value for money
It's very stable and having the pneumatic spring arm is great for adjustability. After using one of the cheaper low profile options with friction adjustment this feels like a massive step up.

Professional-level Mic Arm
This mic arm is surprisingly great. Very sturdy, sleek, and practical depending on your desk setup. I have it mounted on the back of my desk and have had no issues with the mount. I think it works well because the clamp is larger than mouse other mounts. It rotates and moves with ease; just be sure to manually adjust the bolt at the end where your mic is mounted to ensure it'll hold the vertical position you desire. Setup was quick and easy. Keep the plastic pieces in, without them the arms won't stay in place. I use a short 3ft XLR cable for my AT2020 mic and it perfect for my setup. Any longer of a cable and you'll have slack somewhere despite the clamps on the arm. Overall, great build quality, stability, and looks professional. Check it out.

Excellent mic arm
Great low-profile mic arm — hits the price/performance sweet spot perfectly. I tried a few other options in this range and some didn't even have gas-operated pistons, which made them way more annoying to adjust. Only nit: it could sit even lower if the articulation/swivel were designed differently. But that works fine for my setup, so not a real complaint.

High End, Low Cost. Superb Product!
Absolutely incredible quality for £43 quid! For context, I'm a professional vocal coach, sound and mastering engineer and I don't scrimp on equipment. Professional quality mic stands like Latch Lake can cost into the thousands so I didn't really expect much from this as it was only cheap and since I could just send it back if it wasn't up to the task I figured it was worth a punt. I needed a replacement for a RODE PSA1 that I had owned for almost 25 years as I snapped the head on it yesterday. The new one had to be able to take the weight of a very expensive ribbon microphone and a very expensive small diaphragm condenser microphone for mid side recording an acoustic guitar. The weight of these microphones along with hardware like solid steel shockmounts and a Triad Orbit orbit ball head is knocking on the door of 2kg, this handles it easily. In fact, I honestly think that Neewer are being conservative with their maximum weight limit as I reckon that this could handle 3kg without much bother. The stand is an all metal affair with top notch fixtures and fittings which sit comfortably with stands five times the price point, and believe me as I own said stands. I often look at the 1 star reviews but on this occasion I really cannot wrap my head around the people who say that this is 'low quality' as it couldn't be further from the truth as it is of exceptional quality both in build and operation. I honestly don't see any reason why you would need to spend more. My only negative would be the cable management could have been better thought out. It's holding almost £2000 worth of microphones and I fully trust it! This product will last you decades, it's brilliant!
