I am deaf in one ear. Can the sound be mixed and sent monphonically to one ear?

Hello, the BackBeat FIT 2100 can only play the sound the mobile device is sending. If it is stereo, it will be played this way, the only option would be to have your device do this, possibly through the phone's settings or with the use of a third party app. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact Plantronics Customer Care at 800-985-9815.

can you listen to music while charging?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us, the BackBeat FIT 2100 can be used while charging, however, is not recommended, for best performance, we recommend to fully charge the battery before use. Please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Care Team at 800-985-9815 if you require assistance or have further questions.

What is operating temperature? Will they automatically shutoff like the 3100s?

Will these work with bluetooth enabled mp3 player even without the backbeat app?

Hi! The BackBeat FIT 2100 is compatible with any device that supports Bluetooth Headsets.
