INTEL I7-3740QM 2.70GHZ 6M MOBILE Review: Great Processor! - I didn't purchase this processor from desertcart, but I thought it would be helpful to post my impressions here anyway. This is a great processor and it's slightly better than the 3630QM too. I upgraded from the i5-3230M, and the performance increase was great. I had double the performance of my previous processor, possibly even more! This was a welcomed processor upgrade and the difference with cpu-intensive games is very noticeable. I haven't found a reason to take away a star, based on the product alone. This will give a large performance increase if you're coming from something fairly less powerful; not so much if you're coming from, for example, an i7-3630QM. If you're going to get this processor as an upgrade, just make sure that it's compatible with you're cpu-socket; and that it won't create too much heat for your computer to dissipate. Great Processor!
