Has anyone used this matt on top of carpet for a treadmill? Other products have pictures with the treadmill supports compressing the pad.

I use it for this purpose and am very satisfied with it.

How thick is this mat? I have seen 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch.

1/8" and dense. It definitely gets the job done under heavy exercise equipment.

How much does this item weigh?

I don't know the 'weight' of the item. I do know that it is a good quality (not cheap material) floor mat for exercise equipment.

Is this mat rubber or more of a foam material? Curious if it would be easily damaged by a pet?

This mat is durable rubber. It is not foam, like some of the gym mats and tiles on the market. Unless the pet is digging and clawing the material consistently, it would be difficult to damage the mat.
