I LOVE THESE NEEDLES !!
Okay, I typically don’t write Amazon reviews, but I love these needles so much that I had to. I’m relatively new to knitting (about 6 months or so) so I waited a while to be sure I would use interchangeable needles before buying any. An old friend bought a pair that was $200, so I was in no rush unless I knew I’d definitely use them. I came across these while searching, and omg am I glad I picked them. The wood is beautiful and so smooth, but still dense and sturdy. The screw mechanism is a bit hard to do by hand, but easy to use with the pin tightener. My only gripe with these is they come in a clear plastic case (think a sturdy tarp) which makes it a bit difficult to store — buy a case for them and you won’t be sorry! I really really recommend these needles — they’re sharp, lovely, portable, and I 100% recommend.

Way better than Clover Takumi
I have been using the clover Takumi bamboo knitting needles for a while as a new knitter and WHOA these are a huge upgrade! These make the clover ones feel so rough in comparison. these are so smooth and the perfect amount of slickness. for the amount of needles you get I actually think it’s a great deal because each of the clover needles that I was buying was like seven or eight dollars and that only comes with one circular size so getting a set is just more economical and works great!

square needle lover for life
so i got these today and immediately opened it and started swatching. So far, so good! Sooooo good! nothing seems to be out of place. the needles are super smooth. I tried bamboo needles once and hated them so i swore off wooden needles. i bought these because i wanted to try square needles, and i am so glad i did! these are so nice and smooth and warm. they feel nice in the hands (though i dont have any stress injuries or issues with the round needles *yet*) The square needle has also helped my gauge quite a bit-now my stitches are super even ( i am loose knitter for the most part). i am pretty thrilled with this purchase. ***I bought the mosaic set for my mom and she loves them! she never used wood needles before (and had the same biases as i did based on a bad experience with bamboo needles). She has the mosaic set. I still use the foursquares whenever i can. ****Update: the foursquares are tough with dark yarns. I still love them, and use them when i can, but with dark colors (and fine yarns like laceweight stuff), it is almost impossible to see). I hope knit picks makes these square things in a lighter color? sunstruck? I would buy those! still worth it though.

Highly Recommend
I've had these needles for almost two years now. As a beginner knitter at that time I did a lot of looking around to see what set I should get. These have done great. The wood is smooth but still gives enough grip that the stitches do not fly off unintentionally. The only issue I ever had one when I first got them one of my needles had a small snag. I used very fine sandpaper to fix it and after that it was perfect. $70 may be a big investment but if you are able to get these I highly recommend them. Their ease of use and quality is a great value for your money versus more affordable options that are not as smooth. That alone made my knitting more enjoyable and less frustrating.

Love the look - majestic set
These are my first ever set and they are beautiful! I love the smooth and sleek design and that the end caps are metal and not plastic! They are as sharp as clover but the sharpness of the tips do vary. I also like the vibrant colors because they are my favorite. The only issue I had was 1 needle screw being misaligned but customer service was great and they work amazing now! The cords have worked nicely for magic loop and have been very convenient when having to switch the size cords on my project! I think these are really good for me starting out but I have noticed some chipping starting at the base when attaching to the metal of only 1 needle so far, which is inconvenient but still works well enough for me to not replace as of this moment! The case is alright but definitely sturdy vinyl but I have switched it for one given as a gift but I still use it on my spare extra needles!

Hit and miss...UPDATE! A HIT BECAUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! SENT ME A RELACEMENT QUICKLY.
These are hit and miss. I like the shape but the wood on at least one pair is splitting and catching my yarn. Wrote to knitpicks...Will see how their customer service is. UPDATE! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AMAZING. SENT ME NEW SET OF NEEDLES. I DO LOVE KNITTING WITH THEM!!

My favorite
I have a bunch of the metal knitting needles and they’re good, they do the job and they’re long enough for all my projects so far but I have heard, from other knitters, that wood ones were even better and I wanted to try them out since I had a lot of times when my work just slipped right off the metal ones. These are fantastic. They’re a beautiful color and quality. I chose the color “Caspian”. They don’t snag, they’re very smooth but they hold the work so it doesn’t slide off when you’re not expecting it. They’re much shorter than the metal needles but they come with the part to make them circular or longer if you use the plastic disk on the end instead of attaching both ends to the needles. There is a little metal key included so when you attach the circular portion you tighten them with the key otherwise they will unscrew constantly as you’re working. These are comfortable to hold and use even for a long time. The tip is very fine so it can get into tight stitches. The little pouch they come in is great for storing and keeping everything organized. There is a good variety of sizes that so far I have always had the size I needed. They have not splintered or cracked. I’m trying to find projects and excuses to knit so I can use them more. I would buy these again if I can find different sizes or if I needed more for any reason. I would also give these as a gift, I’m confident someone else would love these as much as I do.

Game Changer!!!
I have been “trying” to learn to knit on vintage Boye metal needles that were my aunt’s for a couple years now. “Trying” because I would get so frustrated with the yarn slipping of the needles like penguins on ice, I’d give up…every time!! I’ve been reading suggestions about needles on social media, and decided to order these. What a game changer!! I’ve had them for about an hour, using acrylic yarn, no slipping!! Now I’ve had a couple of screwy stitches, but that’s my beginner fault. These needles are smooth, short, warm, and very pointy. The yarn stays put and I feel much more comfortable. Highly recommend for beginners!!

Great quality and easy to use
I was hesitant about getting interchangeable needles for a project I wanted to start, but I’m glad I went for it. These needles are easy to change out, are secure, and come with many different sizes, making them worth it in both money and space saving. They are smooth even over the connection so the yarn doesn’t catch and so far they’ve held up well.

Love these needles.
Omg I love these needles. I was having troubles with my metal circular shorties making my hands ache. I got these yesterday. They are beautiful, so smooth and with them being square they are more comfortable to grip. I knitted for 4 hours last night and my hands don’t hurt. So worth it.

Happy with the performance of this set of knitpicks foursquare cubic needles
I have been using the smallest size needles being 3.5mm. The joins are beautifully smooth and do not come undone easily. I find that my arthritic hands are more comfortable using these light cubic needles. The yarn does not catch on the joins and glides along smoothly. So far I am exceedingly happy with this set. I have checked that all the needles can be attached to the cables. The needles can be attached to swivel cables from a different popular brand but the join is not quite as smooth so I have not used them that way. I am happy with their performance with their own cables which do not swivel.
