I ordered these to use in my Lego creations because they are Lego block size and can be incorporated into my projects. Finding motors this small is unusually difficult. I was a bit disappointed in that I must not have read the description clearly and they don't come with a battery holder or any wiring diagram. Beyond that minor item (and why I gave it four instead of five stars) they are perfect for what I wanted them for.

The motorized brick is the size of one 2x4 brick PLUS two 2x4 PLATES on top of it. The cable comes out of the corner midway up the edge of the brick. The axle hole is centered exactly midway up the side as well. Includes a short standard Power Functions power cable. There are no controls on the motorized brick or cable, so speed and direction are fully controlled by your power source. PROS: - Compact size so you can fit it into tight spots on your MOC. - Supports forward and reverse movements. - You can still find a lot of devices for the Power Functions cables, or get an adapter to older/newer power sources. CONS: - Slower speeds are problematic and sometimes do not spin the motor. I have to turn it up to 10 before I can back it down to 4 or 3 to get it to spin at slower speeds. This may cause a problem if you plan to run slower speeds using a MindStorms controller, for example.
