Does the job
Blocks out signals. Our car got stolen off our drive and we have now made precautions, one being purchasing this signal blocker. My husband could not open his car in this pouch. Excellent gadget.

Stopping another break in
I had my car broken into using a keyfob booster, bought this as advised by the police and it works perfectly. Now keep one in my handbag as thieves are targeting car parks. Don’t forget one for your spare keys!

Does it block signal effectively?? (Updated)
Got a pair of these yesterday to protect my wireless car keys. To test, I placed one fob inside the pouch, and placedinside my jacket. I assumed that when I pressed START key on car, nothing would happen, but the car started as normal.Disappointed. Then placed on roof so there was that additional shield, but that made no difference either. **UPDATED**Have just read on a car forum, that pouch only works (re signal blocking) if key inserted in the rear, not the front compartment. Shame a simple leaflet wasn't shipped with item clarifying THIS VERY IMPORTANT POINT. Amazon Buying Team should insist on thiis being added.

Really important to have one of these
This pouch is great for putting car keys or credit cards in, to protect them from bad men trying to steal stuff. They can be used to protect anything that emits an electronic signal, not just keys. For example, if you had a tiny evil robot that communicates electronically with his friends to organise worldwide domination, this pouch would stop it, so this pouch could save the world, that’s how important it is to buy one.

A must if you want to keep your car!
I've bought a number of these recently due to a spike in car thefts in the area involving thefts without need of a key.Yep, if you leave your car fob near your front door your car is at risk of being stolen and never seem again. This very simple yet clever bag blocks the RF (radio frequency) signal that would be thieves use from a scanning device to locate your keys then use a signal booster to act as a jumper from your keys to the receiver build into your cars ignition. Instant access and ability to start your car especially if it's keyless push button start. This simply prevents the signal from being detected on your keys. BUT BE ADVISED! You will need to ensure your spare key is also in a RF bag or it will still pick up a signal.

Worked for a bit and then it didn't!
Updated review: Although this pouch initially perfectly blocked the key from being read, sadly after about 6 weeks of use, the pouch totally fails to block keyless entry to the car.I've read a number of reviews of similar pouches and there are a lot of similar complaints about products failing over time. I wonder if the woven faraday cage layers are being stretched in pockets by bulky car keys and perhaps leaking radio signals after being stretched. I've turned the pouch inside out and there are no obvious tears to the lining or the stitching at the seams.Original Review: This little soft pouch works perfectly. I cannot open the car door with the car key in the pouch, even when I'm standing right next to the car. I've been using it for a month now and the pouch has withstood the wear of being kept in my jeans pockets.I'm keeping my spare car key in the house with the battery removed, so that I don't need to buy a second one of these.

Cracking bit of kit!
I couldn't be happier with this key minder! I can't say enough good things about it. I have a reasonably decent car and live in a reasonably dodgy part of a big UK city, and this product really gives me peace of mind.It is small, side-opening (which I wanted particularly), well-made, low-cost and does exactly what it's meant to do. Other signal blocking key pouches are huge and unpractical. And some don't block the signal at all. This one does. Even sitting right inside the car, this thing works! And it's small enough to keep in my pocket while out and about or on a small table next to the door at home. There is no rational reason not to buy one of these if you have remote starting on your vehicle. It's less than £5. How much is your car worth?

Don't bother didn't work
After seeing the increase in car theft by using range extenders to bypass security I though I would invest in two of these. One for the spare and one for the daily use. So I thought I would give it a go. Placed the key in the pouch and approached the car. Pressed the button doors unlocked. Got into the car and started the car all with the key in the pouch.
