I can't believe how fast this got here, I ordered in Monday evening and it arrived Wednesday morning. I wasn't expecting it until at least Friday. I have only had a few minutes to play though the amp and so far am pleased with it

Best buy yet! Best brand in the $ range!
All I can say is wow! This has to be the best amp at this price. I chose this over the fender and I'm glad I did. It is clean-sounding smooth has a great tone nice design easily move it around even though it does weigh over 30 lb. This is a bargain I'm glad I went with this brand. The size is big enough to punch out for mid sized church functions with ease! The pic doesn't really show u the size. It's bigger than the pic puts out. No distortion just a clean bass sound... Again A bargain and I will buy a bigger one in the future!

Very good practice amp
I wish I'd had something like this 35 years ago when I started playing. I actually have a pro rig that I normally use with high-end stuff. I just bought this for my girlfriend who is learning to play. It's a very loud amp, considering how small and low wattage it is. I'd be ok using this for small acoustic gigs and such, although it has no line-out, and no tuner. I've been very disappointed in Ampeg over the years; I had found their stuff from 5-6 years ago to be lacking in quality. The SVT-7Pro I had just died on me after almost no use, for example. But it looks like this is a pretty solid little amp. And considering that it is so inexpensive, I definitely recommend it.

Great product / amazing price
Impressed with this amp. Bought for my husband who is teaching my son to play bass and the sound output is pretty amazing. No rattling like someone else suggested and my husband only has the sound in between 0 and 1 and it is loud enough I would hate to hear what it sounds like any higher lol.

Im not sure if i should be upset at Ampeg or Amazon but im leaning more towards Ampeg since Amazon only buys in bulk and then sends them.Unit arrived and excitedly (even at47) i opened it up plugged it in....and then nothing,only darkness.And the cool arkness like Sabbath darkness,just silence.To my dismay,i felt gutted as i have owned a very rare and highly desired Ampeg SVT -HD !I even tried another cord like shipper suggested to do(cord was known good as just used it seconds before)and still nothing...darkness...sadnesss.Sent unit back and am still waitin* on refund.

I am pleased overall
The 1/8 inch headphone jack is a very useful feature. The amp can produce a wide range of tones, especially when paired with active electronics. Its a solid little amp, but don't expect to use it for much more than solo practice. The woofer bottoms out pretty quickly when pushed above 1/4 on the volume knob.

Arrived broken in box
Purchased from Pro Audio Land, ordered new but they only had a “b-stock” available. Thought it would be fine but when it arrived it had a very noticeable vibration/buzzing. It took some time to figure out that there was a HUGE crack all the way through the speaker housing. Pro Audio Land just said “sorry” and sent me to ampeg for warranty. Yeah, sounds like fun.Would’ve been nice if the seller had done ANY kind of check on it before shipping...

Dead as a hammer
I pulled the BA 110 out of the box, plugged it in and NOTHING... I called AMPEG to make sure I just hadn't missed something. They said: "nope; you just got a brick." Nice...
