Best console out
I held off on getting one for a while because I still had my PS4 and honestly wasnโt sure it was worth the jump. It absolutely is. The load times alone sold me โ games that used to take a minute plus to load are just done in like 2 seconds. It sounds small but it genuinely changes how you play. You stop dreading loading screens. The DualSense controller is the real sleeper hit of this whole thing. The haptic feedback and adaptive triggers actually add something to gameplay, itโs not just a gimmick. Driving games, shooters, even just walking through different terrain โ you feel the difference. Didnโt expect to care about that going in but now itโs hard to go back. Performance on games is smooth, 4K output looks incredible on a good display, and the UI is clean and fast. Havenโt had any crashes or weird bugs, runs quiet most of the time except during some heavier games where the fan picks up a little but nothing annoying. Only real complaints are the storage fills up faster than youโd expect so budget for an SSD expansion eventually, and the all white design shows fingerprints like crazy if that bothers you. Minor stuff. Overall though itโs just a great machine. The exclusives alone make it worth it and third party support is strong. If youโve been on the fence just get it.

From PS2 to PS5 Pro
I am primarily a PC gamer and haven't owned a PlayStation since the PS2 era. However, with the upcoming price hike and the eventual release of GTA VI, I decided to pull the trigger now since I knew Iโd end up buying one anyway. When GTA V launched, I was lucky enough to borrow a friend's PS3 until the PC port arrived, but this time I wanted my own setup. After spending a few days with the PS5 Pro, Iโm a huge fan. The graphics look stunning on a large 4K TV, GTA V runs smoothly, and Iโve been having a blast with Astroโs Playroom. Iโm particularly impressed with the DualSense controller; since I skipped the PS4 completely, features like haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, the touchpad, and the built-in speaker all feel brand new and incredibly immersive.

Best in the market
โI bought this to replace my older console, and the "Slim" design is a game-changer for my desk setup. It runs quiet, stays cool, and the extra storage space (1TB) means I donโt have to delete games as often. โThe setup was incredibly easy, and the graphics are a huge step up. If you're on the fence, itโs worth every penny for the faster load times and the incredible DualSense controller alone. Highly recommended!

Solid upgrade if you got a TV to back it up
Upgraded from base model just days after the PSSR2 was released and I tell ya, definitely a solid choice. Especially after hearing about a price hike that was coming. My Hisense TV is super happy to finally be able to show off now. Haha

PS5 Pro for the win.
We have been slowly replacing all of our PS5's and moving them up to Pros. The systems are stable and run smoother. When I saw the price was going up, I jumped before the price hike. I wouldn't pay the new price but I was definitely willing to pay the sub 700 price. More storage. Faster and quicker. Having a triple side by side setup for the family we race, play, and hangout together like this. In the triple setup we get to see the differences but it isn't simply about noticeably better graphics or more storage. Overall, things simply work better games stutter less. All systems are hooked up to a 5 GB FIBER setup and on LG OLED Systems.

Great Console for the price
This was my first console since the Super Nintendo. I'm mostly a PC Gamer but I decided to purchase a PS5 for myself and my nephew. This is a great console, it's fast, has 2TB of storage for plenty of games. Load times are pretty fast on Wifi 6. It comes with a controller and includes Astrobot, a Free to Play game. It's certainly fast enough and graphics are great. Theres no lag on Wifi 6. My Nephew loves the PS5 Compared to his PS4. I love being able to Remote play from PS4 the games that aren't available for PS5. I also like the Remote play app being able to play my games from my phone and tablet. I plan on adding a disc drive later to be able to play some of the games on disc we have. Customization is also fairly easy to replace the Covers with Custom ones. I also would reccomend a Cooling/Charging Station to put the PS5 Upright and keep it cool and the controllers Charged

Great, but could be better for the price
I am glad that I upgraded from the PS5 to the PS5 Pro, because the more capable GPU of the PS5 Pro makes a good difference in many games by improving performance in games that had GPU related performance drops on the base PS5, boosting image quality and/or framerates, and allowing developers to get more ambitious with features like ray tracing. The 2TB of storage is also nice, especially in an economic landscape where memory prices are so out of control that buying an SSD to expand the system's storage is multiple times more expensive than usual. I'm used to playing games on my PC that's a good bit more powerful than the PS5 Pro, but in a lot of games, the PS5 Pro is good enough that I don't think the difference is very meaningful. This is great, because my whole goal in getting the Pro was to have a PS5 system that doesn't feel very compromised compared to my PC while having access to advantages of the PS5, like physical games and relatively simple settings menus where developers do the work in picking settings that look and run well. All of that said, I do have gripes with the system. The PS5 Pro is a $750 enthusiast product that I think most people should probably just skip in favor of getting the base PS5 or waiting for the PS6. I personally would not have gotten the Pro if I wasn't a hardware enthusiast, didn't get a decent good offer to sell my old PS5, and didn't have some money to burn after receiving tax returns. Expensive products for enthusiasts are not inherently bad, but I wish the PS5 Pro did a better job at making its price tag feel worth it. It feels like a bit of a rip off to buy a premium home console that doesn't even come with a vertical stand and disc drive included in the package. I didn't buy the stand because I don't need it, but the disc drive is basically non-negotiable for me because I already have a collection of physical Playstation games, and in general, physical games are a very large part of the value proposition for game consoles compared to PCs in my eyes. This effectively made the PS5 Pro come out to $830 for me, not even counting sales tax. I also wish the CPU got an upgrade. The PS5 Pro does a great job at improving the PS5 experience in GPU bound scenarios, but there are a handful of games that still suffer from performance issues that are just as bad as the base PS5 version because the base PS5 and PS5 Pro have the same CPU. Games with notable CPU related performance issues on PS5 are relatively rare, but still common enough that an improvement would've been well appreciated, especially for users who play lots of simulation-heavy games. One last thing worth noting for anyone who's still not sure if they want the PS5 Pro or base PS5 is that in general, PS5 systems are best experienced on 4K 120hz screens with VRR, but this goes doubly so for the PS5 Pro. I would not personally recommend the Pro to anyone whose TV or monitor is not up to that spec, because a major part of the Pro's value is its ability to scale better to high end screens. Without the ability to scale that high, you might as well just get the base PS5, unless you're really interested in any particular games that you know will scale better on the Pro with your setup. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who's done the research on the PS5 Pro and knows this will be worth it for them compared to the base PS5, but I don't expect that that will be the case for most people. It's just barely worth it for me, but I'm still glad to have one, and I expect I'll be playing a lot more on PS5 than I used to from here on out.

Amazing Console
Greetings, Just purchased the PS5 Pro, and it's great for playing enhanced games and other games. I had the PS5 Standard edition, which is still great to have. It's just that the Pro has features, especially graphics, which are sharper and more detailed. I just finished playing The Last of Us 1 & 2, and the graphics were awesome. I'm really glad that I upgraded to the Pro.
