Naxa Electronics NPB-252 Portable MP3/CD Player with AM/FM Stereo Radio (Blue)

Bought this for my elderly mother. She loves music and needed something that was simple to work. This fit the bill. The sound is good for the price. Small in size which was helpful as she doesn't have a lot of space near where she sits. So this worked perfect!

Bought this for my special needs cousin for her room. First one came in and when we opened it the cd/electronics for cd player were completely broken out and had fallen onto inside of radio. We got it replaced, and the second one that came in the antenna was broken off and just laid on top of the radio in the package. The radio was not wrapped in plastic bag like previous one so it seems like it was a return that got reshipped. The antenna hole still had the sharp metal on it. We went a head and plugged it in to see if it would even work. We tried 5 different cds in the player and it wouldn't work. If it was just for me, it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but it is hard to explain to someone with special needs that is so excited to get something special that it doesn't work right out of the box twice! We are sending it back and going for a different brand all together. This company really needs to have better quality control.

Received this today. The lowest volume setting is not low enough. I had to put it three rooms away with the door partly closed to get the right effect throughout the house for the Christmas music I want playing in the background.But I'm happy with it. It's strong - that's for sure. And the size and color are peeeerfect! So in spite of the "low volume - NOT" setting - I'm giving it five stars because I'm pleased with the results.

I actually liked the thought of purchasing a return item, sorta like recycling, plus the low cost was advantageous (I thought). However, once the item was received, upon unpacking I realized their was no power cord included. I had no interest in using expensive batteries to make it operable. So, I sent the item back… !!?? Not sure I’ll purchase open box again.

For the price and the size this is the best CD player I have had. This little NAXA is easy to carry, looks good, and sounds good. I have not used the MP3 function but I bought it for the CD function and that works fine in every way. I bought it from Amazon and it is a keeper. It does not have all the adjustments on it but I don't need that. It is just what I wanted.

I got this to put on the back porch to listen to NPR and such while I read the paper and sip coffee. I wanted something inexpensive that worked well, that I could leave outside on the covered porch, and this seems to fit that need. The controls are all manual, and that's okay for me, since I rarely change the station. The reception is okay, and it's nice that it plays CDs and MP3s in addition to the radio, and it has a headphone jack. It's also a pretty color. I love anything red.

Plays really well and covers the newer MP3 discs. Good for listening to audio books while taking up small space on night table. Buyers remember to remove the cardboard where you pop in the disc, it blended in and I thought I had a bum product until I saw it was removable and that's what kept it from working. Also make sure the cords are pushed in tight.
