ASICS Men's Snapdown Wrestling Shoe

This is my third or possibly fourth pair of ASICS wrestling shoes. I have been wearing them for a long time. I use them for playing my drums and for exercise (the thin sole or a wrestling shoe is great for foot flexibility on my bass drum pedals). I found this new pair to run even smaller in size than I was used to though. I was told and have also experienced that these shoes run a bit smaller than the number size would have you believe. I ordered size 11 medium width. In most shoes, I wear a 10 or 10.5. My last pair of ASICS were size 11 and fit perfectly. This new pair of size 11 seems almost too small, but just right enough that I won't send them back. A little more toe room up front would be good, but that being said, my big toe does not reach the tip of the shoe...there is a little bit of extra room. After I have had them on and walk around for a few minutes, they seem just right. Maybe it is just that they are new - they seem to grab my foot a little more snugly than I am used to. But I am very happy with them...these were a bit cheaper than many of the others I looked at despite being comfortable and well made.

I bought these to replace an old pair of Asics that I had bought four years prior. They were still in decent shape but getting a bit loose. I don't use these to wrestle but to kick a heavy bag as a large part of an hour long heavy bag workout I developed, mostly kicking. Wrestling shoes work good for this purpose, kicking a bag, because they have a minimalist, flat sole. You don't need a running or cross training sole when you kick, nor do you need treads but what is helpful is a high top to protect your ankle from chafing. They also make good weight lifting shoes also I think. They fit as expected and like other Asic wrestling shoes and are very lightweight. When I ordered my last pair I went up a half size due to reviews but I think that was a mistake and I compensated with my old pair by wearing a heavier sock. They're a bit tight when you put them on but once on they fit very well. I like the color scheme too, very happy with the purchase.

I ordered half size bigger, and it fit well. I'm a 9.5, and the 10 was a good fit. Boxing is what I intended to use this for, and I'm on the lookout for a shoe that's lightweight but will help me plant my foot more. I expected this shoe to help me sit down on my punches better, and dig my whole foot better on the ground more since I box a slightly tip-toed naturally, but it didn't. Still on the look out for the shoes that'll solve my tip toed problem, but these are okay shoes. I can see this degrading quickly when used outdoors as I had used to sprint outdoors with em once and the soles did take quite a beating. Indoors, this should last you a while.

These are super comfortable and work perfectly, for boxing and wrestling. I would buy these again. Exactly how I thought that they would be.

I bought these for lifting weights. I normally wear a 10.5 so I ordered an 11 knowing wrestling shoes are a little snug. They are snug for sure, and that's what I like about them for squats and deadlifts. I actually think a 10.5 would have worked, but the length of the 11 allows for a little expansion when I am warmed up I suppose. As far as fit and finish, these look pretty cool. I got dark blue and red. The material seems pretty sturdy. Of three pairs of wrestling shoes, these are my favorites. Oh, and the price was really good as well.

It is so hard very hard to find my Grandson's size (14 wide) in this type of shoe. All the stores either didn't carry shoes that size or they were sold out. After reading all the reviews, I decided to purchase them. Once they arrived, my Grandson tried them on and they fit perfectly. He wore them to every practice, which was 4 days a week, and to every meet, which was 2 times a week. They are still in great shape. They held up very well. I'm impressed because he is rough with his shoes and these withstood him!

I switched my husband to ASICS a few years back when he needed new running shoes. Since then we have only ever bought ASICS because it's the most comfortable for him. He is flat footed and needed a pair of wrestling shoes for his classroom mat sessions. I saw ASICS made wrestling shoes as well so I decided to try them out. He loves them. He has pretty wide feet (he's tall and Samoan) and these fit him great. He uses them for a few hours at a time, and has no complaint that it gets uncomfortable. Will definitely purchase again if he needs another pair in the future.

Even after I matched my son's regular shoe size, to the size it should be for a wrestling shoe, I was disappointed with how much smaller it was. I had to exchange it for a completely different shoe because they didn't stock anything bigger at the time and it wasn't available for prime. The shoe itself was rather nice and well made. Just be careful, and order a half a size bigger then what the chart states.

Als meine alten Ringershuhe kaputt gegangen sind musste ich schnell neue holen ich muss sagen die Asics hatten eine sehr gute Qualität und sie waren auch sehr schnell bei mir zu Hause da eigentlich genau da wo ich sie auch gebraucht habe der Versand hat nämlich nur vier Tage gedauert.
